1Day Chennai sightseeing

Your first day of this exciting 6D Tamil Nadu tour begins as soon as you arrive in Chennai. We pick you up from the airport or railway station and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in Chennai. Chennai ranks in the list of all the big cosmopolitan cities in India. After the rest, you will do sightseeing in Chennai and visit places which are very famous in Chennai. The most famous places that you will tour on this day are Kapaleeswara Temple, Santhome Cathedral Basilica, National Art Gallery, Fort St. George, and Ashtalakshmi Temple. You can walk on India’s longest beach, which is called Marina Beach in Chennai. After this tour, you will now come back to your hotel and rest for the night.

2Day Mahabalipuram sightseeing

We will now drive to our next big destination that is Mahabalipuram. The driving distance between Chennai to Mahabalipuram is just about 2 hours by car. You can make a halt at Kanchipuram and visit the famous Kailasanathar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, and Vardarajanperumal Temple. All these temples represent the finest temple architecture in all of India. After this visit, proceed to Mahabalipuram. This is famous for its temples and heritage monuments which were carved out of rocks in the 7th and 8th centuries. Mahabalipuram is also called Mamallapuram. The most famous among these monuments is the Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram. There are over 40 such temples and monuments here and some of the most famous are Arjuna's Penance, Pancha Rathas, Cave Temples, and others. You will now rest at your hotel for the night.

3Day Thanjavur sightseeing

After you check out from your hotel in Mahabalipuram you will now head to your next destination in Tamil Nadu tour. Thanjavur is famous for its other name, which is Tanjore. This drive from Mahabalipuram to Tanjore is about 6 hours by car. Here the first temple that you will visit is the famous Brihadeeswara Temple. This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest temples in India. The Chola architecture of this temple is a sight to behold. You can later visit Thanjavur Palace, which is famous for its spacious courtyards and incredible sculptures. You can visit the Vijayanagara Fort and the beautiful garden inside the fort. This is a 16th century fort with huge construction and architecture. You will now visit the Thanjavur Art Gallery where you can see the original hand-made Tanjore paintings. After this visit, you can return to your hotel in Thanjavur and rest for the night.

4Day Trichy sightseeing

On this day, you will drive towards Madurai from Thanjavur. It is a drive of approximately 200 km and a 4-hour drive by car. On the route, you will now make a halt at Tiruchirappalli. It is better known as Trichy. Here you will have some time to visit the most famous temple in Trichy, which is known as Ranganathaswamy Temple. This temple is famous for its Dravidian architecture and gopurams. This is a temple of Lord Vishnu, which is famous all over India. After this visit, you will proceed to drive to Madurai and check in at your hotel.

5Day Madurai sightseeing

You will visit the most famous temple in Madurai which is Meenakshi Amman Temple. This temple is famous all over India for its exceptional temple architecture, temple towers, sculptures, and carvings. This temple is also one of the oldest temples in India. You can wonder with awe at the Thousand Pillar Hall which has musical pillars which produce a different sound. Later visit Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, which is a 17th-century palace. This palace is a masterpiece in architecture with its long corridors, royal interiors, sculpted pillars, and decorated chambers. After this visit, you will now see the beauty of the Mariamman Teppakulam Temple. The temple tank here is considered to be the biggest water tank in the whole of Tamil Nadu. Spend the evening dining at a popular restaurant and rest for the night in your hotel.

6Day Drop to Chennai

After this exciting 6D tour of Tamil Nadu, you will check out from your hotel in Madurai and drive back to Chennai. We will drop you at Chennai airport or railway station.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
