Namaste! Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, our driver/representative will be waiting for you outside to warmly welcome you. After a meet and greet, we will take you to visit the exquisite Mughal Gardens, namely Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, and Shalimar. We will also visit the Shankaracharya Temple, situated on a hillock, which offers a panoramic view of the entire city, along with the famous Dal lake and river Jehlum.
En route, we will also stop by a handloom centre that is famous for producing high-quality pashmina/Shahtoosh shawls and world-renowned carpets. In the evening, we will head towards your houseboat, where you can check in and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.
After having breakfast in the morning, you will head towards Gulmarg. On the way, you will pass by the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive for another 14 km to reach Gulmarg. You can opt for a Gondola ride in Gulmarg, which takes you up to 1st Phase Kangdoori or 2nd Phase Affarvat, offering a stunning view of the snowcapped mountains.
Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes. On a clear day, you can also catch a glimpse of Nanga Parbat, the famous naked mountain towering over 26,000 feet and dominating the entire region. You can also enjoy a cable car (Gondola) for a mountain ride up to Khilang marg. In the evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara. Bijbehara is famous for being the bread basket of Kashmir. At Khanabal, we will switch from the national highway 1A and drive through the second-largest city of Anantnag. From here, the road becomes more scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder river, flowing in the opposite direction.
In the evening, we will return to the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight. Please note that vehicles coming from outside Pahalgam are not allowed for local sightseeing, as per government rules. Therefore, another local vehicle (Dzire) will be provided for Pahalgam sightseeing at its own cost. Ponies can also be hired at a certain point. Our vehicle which we took from Srinagar will be stationed at the hotel during our entire stay in Pahalgam.
After having a delicious breakfast, finish all the necessary formalities and proceed towards Srinagar airport. Board your flight and return back home with wonderful memories. The trip will end here.
