Your Rajasthan Marwar Tour will start from Jodhpur. We will pick you up from Jodhpur Airport or railway station and we will transfer you to the hotel that was prebooked for this tour. You will visit the powerful Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the biggest forts in the whole of India. There are many palaces and museums in Mehrangarh Fort. You can have a panoramic view of Jodhpur from Mehrangarh Fort.
After Mehrangarh Fort, you will visit Jaswant Thada. This marble monument was built in honor of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II of Jodhpur. Later we will visit Umaid Bhawan Palace. This palace ranks among the largest royal residences in the whole world. Umaid Bhawan Palace is a building with incredible architecture. Later visit Mandore Garden, which is a series of memorials and cenotaphs with incredible architecture. You will visit the Clock Tower where you can dine on authentic Rajasthani street food and shop around for souvenirs. After this sightseeing in Jodhpur, you can rest for the night in the hotel.
You will now check-out from Jodhpur and proceed to visit yet another famous destination on this Marwar Tour, which is Jaisalmer. On the route, you can make a short halt to visit the magnificent temple at Osian. The temples here are famous for their incredible architecture and wonderful sculptures. Surya Temple and Sachiya Mata Temple are the most famous temples that you will visit in Osian. You will now proceed to visit Khichan, which is a famous bird sanctuary in Rajasthan. Khichan is like a desert oasis where migratory birds like Demoiselle Cranes come every winter season from faraway China and Russia. You can now proceed to Jaisalmer by road. On arrival in Jaisalmer, you can check-in at the hotel and rest overnight.
You will spend the entire day with Jaisalmer sightseeing and desert tour. You will begin with the biggest attraction in Jaisalmer, which is the Jaisalmer Fort. This fort is also called the Golden Fort, due to its red and pink sandstone architecture. Jaisalmer Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is ranked among the largest forts in India. You can spend 3 hours just exploring the temples and havelis in the fort.
We will now have lunch and proceed to visit the Sam region near Jaisalmer. This region is famous for its sand dunes, which are spread over a very large area. You can stay in the camp and do several activities like camel rides, and jeep rides. In the evening you can entertain yourself with cultural programs like Rajasthan folk music, gypsy dance, barbecue dinner, stargazing, etc. Later have a rest in the desert camp in Sam.
In the morning you will check out from Jaisalmer and leave for Bikaner. On arrival in Bikaner after a drive of around 5-6 hours, you will do check-in at the hotel. Then we will take you to visit the National Research Centre on Camel where you will come to know about some very interesting things about the camel. You can taste camel milk, ice cream made of camel milk, and a safari ride on a camel. After this, you will visit the spectacular Junagarh Fort and Rampuria Haveli. These are very famous monuments in Bikaner. After this visit to Bikaner, you shall return to your hotel in Bikaner and stay overnight at the hotel.
This morning you will check-out from Bikaner and visit Mandawa, which is a town in the Shekhawati region in Rajasthan. Mandawa is famous for its painted havelis, forts, temples, and cenotaphs. The havelis and the artistic paintings are famous all over the world and this is the reason why Mandawa is also called an ‘Open Art Gallery in Rajasthan’. You will visit the famous buildings here like Mandawa Fort, Goenka Haveli, and others. You can stay overnight at your hotel in Mandawa.
You will now check-out from Mandawa on this day and visit Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur you can check-in at the pre-booked hotel and then visit the famous Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and Jaipur City Palace. In the evening you will visit the magnificent and one of the most unique palaces in Jaipur called Jal Mahal. We will now conclude this tour and drop you at the Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Railway station, or any other drop-off point in Jaipur.
