Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Pickup from Guwahati + Arrival in Shillong + Shillong sightseeing

This is the first day of the 3 Nights 4 Days Meghalaya Tour. After you land at Guwahati Airport, our tour representative will pick you up and drive to Shillong. This will be a drive of around 4 hours. Along the way, you can stop on the route at Umiam Lake. This lake has many water sports activities for tourists.
Later we will continue our journey to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya. On arrival, you will check-in at the hotel. Afterward, we will visit the Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, Police Bazar, and Ward’s Lake. After this sightseeing tour of Shillong, you will return to your hotel and have dinner. Later have an overnight stay in the hotel.

2Day Shillong to Cherrapunjee + Sightseeing in Cherrapunjee

This will be an exciting day in this 3 Nights 4 Days Meghalaya Tour. Today we will have an early breakfast and then check-out from Shillong. We will now drive to Cherrapujee from Shillong. On the route, we will stop to admire the beauty of Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, and Mawkdak Valley Viewpoint.
After we reach Cherrapunjee, you can check-in at the hotel. We will visit Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthlen Falls, and Mawsmai Caves. These are the top tourist attractions in Cherrapunjee. Nohkalikai Falls ranks among the highest waterfalls in India. After lunch, we will visit Awrah Caves. After this sightseeing tour of Cherrapunjee, we will return to our hotel in Cherrapunjee have dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

3Day Cherrapunjee to Mawlynnong village to Dawki

Today as per our Meghalaya tour itinerary we will visit Dawki. We will start early and after a hearty breakfast, we will proceed to check-out from Cherrapunjee. We will drive onwards to Mawlynnong village. This village of Mywlynnong is regarded as the cleanest village in Asia. You can walk on the roads of the village and view the houses in this village. Later go on a trek to the Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village. This bridge is made of the roots of the trees. The members of the Khasi tribe have used ingenious methods to make such a wonderful marvel.
Later we will continue our journey and proceed onwards to Dawki. This small village is located very close to the border with Bangladesh. When you arrive at Dawki, you can view the crystal-clear waters of the Dawki River. Here you can take a boat ride and view the bottom of the river. After you have finished this boating, you can reach the camp or homestay in Mawlynnong Village and stay here for the night.

4Day Sightseeing in Shillong and Guwahati + Departure from Guwahati

This is the last day of the 3 Nights 4 Days Meghalaya Tour. We will now check-out from Dawki and proceed to drive to Shillong. We will visit other attractions of Shillong such as Mawphlang Sacred Forest, and Laitlum Canyon. Later we will drive to Guwahati and you can visit the very famous Kamakhya Temple. We will drop you at Guwahati Airport/ Guwahati Railway Station, and you can catch a flight/ train to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
