Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrive in Guwahati + Drive to Shillong + Sightseeing in Shillong

This will be your first day of this 4N 5D Meghalaya Tour. As you arrive at Guwahati Railway Station/ Guwahati Airport, our tour representative will pick you up and then drive to Shillong. On the way, you can make a short halt at Umiam Lake. The lake is well-known for its scenic beauty and water sports.
After you arrive in Shillong, you will check-in at the hotel. Later we will go for sightseeing in Shillong. We will visit Ward’s Lake and Mary Help of Christians Cathedral. After this sightseeing, you will return to your hotel in Shillong and rest here for the night.

2Day Shillong to Cherrapunjee

This will be an exciting day as you will visit Cherrapunjee on this day. We will have an early breakfast and drive onwards to Cherrapunjee. You can view the beautiful Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, and the scenic Mawdak Valley. In Cherrapunjee, you will visit Seven Sisters Falls and Dainthlen Falls.
After lunch, you will visit other tourist attractions in Cherrapunjee such as Arwah Cave and Mawsmai Caves. After this sightseeing in Cherrapunjee, you will arrive at the hotel and check-in. You can have dinner and then overnight rest and stay in Cherrapunjee.

3Day Cherrapunjee – Dawki – Mawlynnong - Shillong

Today we will be doing a whole day of sightseeing on this 4N 5D Meghalaya Tour. We will have an early breakfast and check-out from Cherrapunjee. We will proceed to visit Dawki, which is a small village near the Bangladesh border. Dawki River is a crystal clear river, and locally it is also known as the Umngot River. The river is so clean that you can see the bottom of the river. You will visit the suspension bridge that is built on this river.
We will now visit the cleanest village in Asia, which is Mawlynnong. You can take a walk in the village and view the houses and interact with the locals. After lunch, you will visit the famous Single-decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village. The bridge is made with roots and is an ingenious way of construction. We will now proceed to Shillong and check-in at the hotel and overnight stay.

4Day Excursion to Mawsynram

Today is an exciting day in our 4N 5D Meghalaya Tour. We will go on an excursion to Mawsynram Cave. This is a natural cave which is very famous in Meghalaya. There is a naturally formed Shiv linga in the cave. Then we will visit Mawsynram Sacred Forest, Mawphlang Dam, and Jakrem hot water springs. You can have lunch on the way. After this sightseeing, you will return to Shillong and have overnight rest.

5Day Shillong to Guwahati + Guwahati departure

This will be your final day of the 4N 5D Meghalaya Tour. After an early breakfast, we will check-out from the hotel. We will drop you at Guwahati Railway Station/ Guwahati Airport. On the way, we will visit the famous Kamakhya Devi Temple. The temple is famous all over India for its tantrik practices and is a Seedh Peetha of Goddess Shakti. After this visit, you will arrive at Guwahati Airport/ Guwahati Railway Station. You will now take your return flight/ train to reach your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
