Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Cochin to Munnar

Your first day of this 5N 6D Kerala Tour starts when you arrive at Kochi. We will pick you up from the airport or railway station and drive onwards to Munnar. This Cochin to Munnar road distance is about 130 km and it will take around 4-5 hours to reach Munnar by our private sedan cab. On the route, you can visit stunning waterfalls like Cheyyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. The entire Cochin to Munnar route goes through scenic valleys, mountainous roads, dense forests, and tribal hamlets. You will see hilltops and stop by to visit an Ayurvedic Massage center. Plan your trip with detail with us so that you have ample time to admire the scenic places on this wonderful road route to Munnar. After you arrive in Munnar you will check in at your hotel and rest for the night.

2Day Munnar sightseeing

Keep this entire day for Munnar sightseeing. You can visit exciting viewpoints such as Echo Point, Pothamedu View Point, and Photo Point and admire the scenic views of Munnar. You can also plan a jungle safari at Eravikulam National Park and spot wild animals in their natural habitat. One of the best things to do in Munnar is staying at a tree-house and you can customize this tour and select one that you want. You can visit Mattupetty Dam and have boating here and explore the scenic dairy farm. Or you can have an elephant ride at Carmelagiri Elephant Park and go into the jungles on these trained elephants. In the evening you can return to your hotel or jungle resort and dine on some authentic Kerala dishes.

3Day Alleppey houseboat tour

On this day you will check out from Munnar and head to your next Kerala destination, which is Alleppey. Munnar to Alleppey is a 4-5 hour journey by car. Alleppey is famous for its natural backwaters and this is also made it known as the ‘Venice of the East’. It has many waterways, lagoons, and inland sea routes and you can explore all these through a houseboat tour in Alleppey. If you are going there in August, you can see the snake boat races in Alleppey competing for the trophy. You can explore the small villages along the backwaters through the houseboat tour. Also, have dinner in the houseboat and rest for the night.

4Day Kovalam sightseeing

On this day you can check out from your houseboat in Alleppey and head to Kovalam. Kovalam is another fantastic beach destination in Kerala. The car ride from Alleppey to Kovalam is about 180 km and it will take approximately 5-6 hours to reach Kovalam. After you arrive in Kovalam you can rest for some time and explore Kovalam Beach. It is one of the cleanest and purest beaches in Kerala. There are three main beaches here which are Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach, Samudra Beach, and Ashoka Beach. You can explore any of these beaches and the tiny hamlets lining the beaches. You can check in at your hotel or resort in Kovalam and have a good night’s sleep.

5Day Trivandrum sightseeing

After breakfast in Kovalam, you will now head to the temple town of Trivandrum. This is just half hour's road trip. The most famous temple here is the immensely popular and richest temple in India that is Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple. You can visit the Napier Museum here and any of the palaces such as Padmanabhapuram Palace, Kuthiramalika Palace, or The Kanakakunnu Palace. The museums in these palaces have a rich collection of artifacts of the royal family. After this visit to Trivandrum, you will now return to Kovalam and rest for the night.

6Day Departure from Kovalam

You will now head back to Cochin after this 5N 6D Kerala Tour. We will drop you at the airport or railway station in Cochin from where you can head back to your home town.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
