1Day Arrival in Shillong + Sightseeing in Shillong
This is the first day of the Meghalaya Tour Package. After you arrive at Guwahati Airport, our tour representative will pick you up and drive to Shillong. On the way, you can make a short halt at Umiam Lake. The lake is famous for its scenic beauty and water sports. We will also visit Elephant Falls, which is one of the famous waterfalls in Shillong. You can relax in the soothing environs of this waterfall.
We will continue our journey and reach Shillong. You will check-in at the hotel in Shillong and relax for some time. Thereafter you can explore the nearby area and do some shopping. Later you will return to the hotel and have dinner an overnight rest and stay.
2Day Arrival in Cherrapunjee + Sightseeing in Cherrapunjee
Today is going to be an exciting day as we have an exciting day of sightseeing ahead of us. You will have an early breakfast and proceed to check-out from Shillong. We will proceed to Cherrapunjee, where you can check-in at the hotel. We will now proceed to visit Mawlynnong Village. This is regarded as the Cleanest Village in Asia. We will go for a short walk in the village and you can even interact with the villagers and learn about the Khasi tribe who live here. You can visit other nearby attractions like Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh View Point and Living Root Bridge.
We will continue our sightseeing tour and visit the Dawki River. Locals also call this river by the name of Umngot River. The river is so clear that you can view the bottom of the river with your naked eyes. You can enjoy a local boat ride on this river. Borhill Falls and Kyram Falls are two attractions that you can view from the river. At the end of this sightseeing tour, we will return to Cherrapunjee. You will return to the hotel and have dinner and overnight rest and stay.
3Day Sightseeing in Cherrapunee
After an early breakfast, we will visit some of the most famous places in Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee is regarded as one of the wettest places in India. We will begin this day's sightseeing tour with visits to Nohkalikai Falls. This is the tallest waterfall in India. You can have a clear view of this waterfall from a distance.
Later we will visit Seven Sisters Falls and Mawsmai Caves. This cave comes in the list of the ten longest caves in India. The cave has long tunnels and narrow subterranean passages. You can look at the fossils in the cave and the unique limestone structures in the cave. Later you will return to Cherrapunjee and overnight rest and stay.
4Day Cherrapunjee Sightseeing
Today we will have an early breakfast and proceed to visit the most important tourist place in Cherrpunjee. This is the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. This unique formation is not natural but man-made. The Khasi tribe made this remarkable bridge for generations. They used the roots of trees to make this bridge. A trek to this Double Decker Living Root Bridge is an adventure in itself.
Later we will visit Nongriat Village and the famous tourist attractions here. Balancing Rock is a unique rock formation. Here a small rock supports a bigger rock. There is a Tree House, which is a type of watch tower made by the locals here. After this day's sightseeing ends, we will return to Cherrapunjee. You can have a delicious dinner and stay in the hotel for the night.
5Day Arrival in Shillong + Sightseeing in Shillong
After breakfast, we will go sightseeing in Mawphlang. This is a village near Shillong, which is known to be a cultural hub of the Khasi tribe. The village of Mawphlang is sacred to the Khasi tribe. The forest here is so sacred that kings held meetings here. This is also a site where sacrifices took place. You can view rare plants, herbs, and trees here.
We will now proceed to reach Shillong. Here we will visit some famous tourist landmarks of Shillong. We will visit Lady Hydari Park and Don Bosco Center. After this sightseeing tour of Shillong, we will return to the hotel. Here you can have a relaxing time with dinner and overnight stay.
6Day Sightseeing in Shillong + Check-out + Transfer to Guwahati
Today is the last day of the Meghalaya Tour Package. We will have an early breakfast and then visit the most famous attraction in Shillong, which is Shillong Peak. The peak offers you picturesque views of the entire city of Shillong and the surrounding hills. You can view the Himalayan mountains and the plains of Bangladesh from a telescope installed at the peak.
Later we will check out from the hotel in Shillong. We will now drive to Guwahati from Shillong. Our tour representatives will drop you at Guwahati Airport/ Guwahati Railway Station. You can now catch a flight/ train to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy
- Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
- In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.
Cancellation Policy
- Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
- Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
