Your Chhattisgarh Tour will start from Raipur, and we will drive to our first destination of this tour, which is Chitrakote. The driving time from Raipur to Chitrakote is about 8 hours. You will check-in at your resort in Chitrakote and then spend the rest of the day in the resort.
You will spend the entire day with Chitrakote sightseeing. You will visit Kanger Valley National Park. This national park is famous for its dense jungles, waterfalls, limestone caves, wild animals, and scenic rivers. You can spot the hill myna, tigers, leopards, chital deer, and several other species of wild animals. You will see the wild beauty of the Tirathgarh Waterfalls as it cascades down the mountains into a milky white waterfall. The Kutumbsar Caves are limestone caves where you will have to crawl and creep into narrow tunnels. The eerie limestone formations in the cave are its prime attraction and you can also see the Blind Fish, which is a special fish which is found only in these caves. Later visit Jagdalpur, and you can check-in at your resort or hotel. You can visit the Anthropological Museum and view the various exhibits about Bastar tribes. Later visit the Chitrakote Waterfalls during the night as it gets illuminated with colorful floodlights. Chitrakote Waterfalls looks just like Niagara Falls and this is one of the best waterfalls in India. At the end of this whole day of sightseeing, you can rest overnight at the hotel in Jagdalpur.
You will now check out from Chitrakote and then depart for Raipur. On the route, you can visit Kondagaon, which is a famous crafts village and is famous for the metal art of the Bastar tribes. On arrival in Raipur, we will drop you at the airport or railway station from where you can leave for your home town.
