Your 4N 5D Chhattisgarh Tour will start as soon as you arrive in Raipur. We will pick you up from the Raipur railway station or Raipur Airport and then transfer to your hotel. We will now go for a sightseeing tour and visit some famous heritage sites around Raipur. We will first visit Rajim, which is called the Prayag of Chhattisgarh. Three rivers have their confluence here in Rajim – Mahanadi, Pairi, and Sondor. We will visit the most famous temple here which is called Rajiv Lochan Temple. This is a temple of Lord Vishnu and is a spectacular temple with incredible architecture. Later we will visit Champaran, which is the birthplace of the famous saint Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya. He was the founder of the famous Vallabha sect, who preaches the ancient Pushtimarg. There are two temples we will visit here and they are on the banks of the Mahanadi River. You can view the beautiful flowing Mahanadi River from viewpoints. After this visit, you can return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
We will do a sightseeing tour of Raipur on this day. The various places we will visit are Budheshwar Temple, Mahamaya Temple, and Dudhdhari Math. These temples are very popular in Raipur. Later we will visit the Ghatarani Waterfalls, which is like a picnic spot where you can eat snacks, have a soothing dip in the waterfalls, and spend a relaxed time at the temple here. You can now spend the rest of the day at the hotel in Raipur and rest overnight.
On this day you will check out from Raipur and then visit your next Chhattisgarh attraction, which is Dongargarh. On the route, you can halt at some places in Bhilai and Durg. You can check-in at your hotel in Dongargarh and then visit the famous Bamleshwari Temple. You will have to reach the temple via a ropeway. This ropeway is another attraction as it offers scenic views of the surroundings. Bamleshwari Temple is on a hill and there is a smaller temple called Choti Bamleshwari Temple near the hilltop temple. It is famous all over Chhattisgarh and people have great devotion to the temple deity. Later after this visit, you can proceed to Bhoramdeo, which is a journey of around 5 hours. On arrival in Bhoramdeo, you can check in at the hotel and rest overnight.
Begin this day with sightseeing in Bhoramdeo and visit the famous Bhoramdeo Temple, which is known as the Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh. There are four temples and the sculptures are very much similar to the Khajuraho temple sculptures. These temples are Shiva temples which date back to the 10th and 13th centuries. You can spend about 2-3 hours exploring the carvings, sculptures, idols, and the architecture of these temples. You can also visit Madwa Mahal, which is another temple close to the main temple. You can later visit the Saroda Reservoir, which is full of the natural beauty of lakes and lush vegetation. We will now leave for Raipur and halt at some places on the way such as Somnath Temple and Ban Jari Temple. Have an overnight stay at your hotel in Raipur.
You will now conclude this tour and checkout from Raipur. We will drop you at the airport or railway station and you can proceed to your home town.
