This 4N 5D North East Tour will take you to visit some fabulous places in the North East. You will go on an elephant safari or jeep safari and spot the rare one-horned rhinoceros. You will visit the ‘Scotland of the East’, which is the hill station of Shillong and Cherrapunjee. These are some of the most beautiful places in the North East. You can visit the Living Root Bridges and some of the spectacular limestone caves in Cherrapunjee. But the most exciting views are that of the Nohkalikai Falls as it plunges from a height of 340 meters and is among the highest waterfalls in India. 1Day Guwahati to Kaziranga

Your 4N 5D North East Tour will start after you arrive in Guwahati. We will pick you up from the railway station or airport and then transfer you to Kaziranga National Park. This is a drive of about 5 hours by car. On arriving in Kaziranga you will check-in at your resort and then rest for the day. Alternatively, you can explore the nearby areas and view the picturesque forests of Kaziranga.

2Day Kaziranga Safari

You will begin this day with a Safari tour of Kaziranga National Park. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam and is famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga National Park is also a tiger reserve and you can spot tigers in the tall grass. During your Kaziranga safari tour, you can spot the rhinoceros, water buffalo, deer, tigers, swamp deer, and lots of other creatures. After this exciting Kaziranga Wildlife Safari Tour, you can return to your resort and rest for the day.

3Day Kaziranga to Shillong

After this trip to Kaziranga, you will check out from your jungle resort and proceed to visit yet another famous North East holiday destination, which is called Shillong. The drive from Kaziranga to Shillong is about 7 hours by car. On the route, you can make a halt to visit the most scenic Umiam Lake. On arriving in Shillong you can proceed to check-in at the hotel and rest for the day.

4Day Day trip to Cherrapunjee

You will go on a day trip to Cherrapunee on this day. Here you will explore the world-famous natural heritage site which is the Living Root Bridges. These natural bridges are made By Khasi tribes and they use the bridge out of the roots of living trees. Cherrapunjee is known to receive the highest rainfall in the world and is among the wettest places in India. We will visit the spectacular waterfalls in Cherrapunjee and these are considered to be among the most spectacular waterfalls in the whole of India. The first waterfall that we will visit is the Nohkalikai Falls. This waterfall is the tallest in India and it plunges from a height of 340 meters. You can also explore the Mawsmai Caves. These are very deep limestone caves. Next, we will visit the Elephant Falls, which is yet another spectacular waterfall in Meghalaya. You can have scenic views of the Shillong Peak. After this Cherrapunjee visit you will return to Shillong and stay at your hotel for the night.

5Day Shillong to Guwahati drop

You will wind up your tour and check out from Shillong. We will drop you at Guwahati railway station or airport and you can then head to your home town.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
