Your tour starts from Bhopal, and we will pick you up from the railway station or airport and transfer you to the hotel. After some rest, you will go on a sightseeing tour of Bhopal. The city of Bhopal is known as the City of Lakes. It was established in the 11th century and is one of the most famous cities in India. We will visit Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which is a museum where you will see many exhibits indoors and outdoors. Some famous things you will see here are musical instruments, tribal habitats, mythological trails, desert villages, etc. We will visit our next Bhopal attraction which is Bharat Bhawan. You will enjoy visiting this place as it has an art gallery, museum, theatre, outdoor auditorium, library, and many other attractions. We will visit Van Vihar Zoo after this where you can watch the wild animals. After this visit, you will return to your hotel and have an overnight rest.
On this day you will check out from Bhopal and visit another top Madhya Pradesh destination, which is the hill station of Pachmarhi. The driving distance from Bhopal to Pachmarhi is around 5 hours. On the route, we will make short halts to visit some attractions. Bhojpur is a small town that comes on the way and we will visit the ruins of a Shiva Temple in Bhojpur. We will visit Bhimbetka, which is a prehistoric cave shelter and has several caves with rock paintings. We will reach Pachmarhi in the evening and here you can check in at your hotel and you can rest for some time. You can explore the nearby area and the markets. You can have dinner in your hotel and rest overnight.
We will do a full day sightseeing of Pachmarhi on this day. Pachmarhi is a very scenic hill station in Madhya Pradesh and this hill station is also known as Satpura ki Rani (The Queen of the Satpuras). Pachmarhi is the name that means Five Caves. It is said that the Pandava brothers built the caves here during their exile period. We will visit these Pandava Gufa and other scenic places in Pachmarhi. There are some very beautiful waterfalls here such as Apsara Vihar and Rajat Prapat. We will visit some scenic viewpoints such as Handi Khoh, and some ancient caves such as Gupt Mahadev. In the evening you will come back after this sightseeing in Pachmarhi and rest overnight at your hotel.
You will check out from Pachmarhi on this day and visit yet another famous tourist attraction of Madhya Pradesh, which is Kanha National Park. On the way, you will make a short halt to visit Bhedaghat, which is famous for its Marble Rocks. You can take a boat ride here and the boat sails through a spectacular landscape that looks like a shot from a Hollywood movie set. There are marble rocks that tower on either side of the Narmada River and your boat sails through this deep gorge. It is a lifetime experience to go boating at Bhedaghat. You will now drive further toward Kanha and pass through small villages and rural landscapes. As you approach Kanha the landscape changes and you will see more jungles. After you reach Kanha in the evening you can check in at the hotel and rest overnight.
You will begin this day with a jeep safari in Kanha National Park. This is one of the best places in India to spot a Royal Bengal Tiger. You will be surprised to know that Rudyard Kipling wrote The Jungle Book after being inspired by Kanha National Park. On your jungle safari, you can also spot other creatures of the forest such as Barasingha, Dhole (Asian Wild Dog), leopards, sloth bears, etc. After this tiger safari in Kanha National Park, you will return to your hotel and rest for the day.
You will now check out from Kanha and drive to visit yet another famous tourist destination in Madhya Pradesh which is the pilgrimage place of Amarkantak. This is a place where one of Indiaβs greatest rivers, the Narmada originates. Amarkantak is a very special place and the Hindu Puranas also mention Amarkantak as a holy tirtha. We will visit the source of the river Narmada called Narmadakund and several other temples here such as Shri Yantra Mandir and the temples of the Kalachuri dynasty. These are the oldest temples in Madhya Pradesh and they are as old as the 10th century. After this sightseeing tour of Amarkantak, we will return to our hotel and you can rest for the night.
We will now check out from Amarkantak and drive on to Jabalpur, which is around a 5-6 hour drive. We will drop you at the railway station or airport in Jabalpur from where you can take a return flight or train to your home town.
