Today is the first day of this Vietnam Tour, and you will arrive in Hanoi via flight. You will be greeted at Hanoi Airport by our tour representative. We will transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi. After the check-in formalities, you can rest in the hotel after the long flight. The rest of the day you can spend the way you like. Later you will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Today you will go on a sightseeing tour of Hanoi and visit the historical museums, complexes, and other cultural attractions. The first stop would be the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which has several monuments and buildings like Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, One Pillar Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh Museum. You will get to know about the importance of Ho Chi Minh Complex in tourism in Hanoi and why is it such a famous tourist attraction in this guided tour. Later you will continue your tour with a visit to either the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or Bat Trang Ceramic Village. You can view various exhibits relating to Vietnamese tribals at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Bat Trang Ceramic Village is also an exciting place to visit and here you can go on a buffalo tour and view the artisans making pottery products. You can try your hand at pottery yourself and enjoy the process of making pottery. Later you will visit the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, and Quoc Tu Giam. You will enjoy a Water Puppet Show in the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. This is a unique puppet show in which Vietnamese folk legends are shown through water puppetry. After this sightseeing tour of Hanoi, you will return to your hotel and stay here for the night.
Today we will take you to one of the largest cave systems in Vietnam, Tam Coc. We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and then take you to Hoa Lu, which was the ancient capital of Vietnam. This is a place of rice fields, limestone cliffs, rugged mountains, temples, palaces, and pagodas. You will visit the oldest temples in Hoa Lu, which are dedicated to the founders of the Dinh and Le royal dynasties. Later you will visit Tam Coc after lunch. You can explore the limestone caves of Tam Coc via boat ride. As you glide on the waters you will see the rugged and towering limestone cliffs and mountains surround you and make the landscape incredibly beautiful. You can pass under these caves in a boat and watch the eerie karst caves with their weird formations. Tam Coc Cave System is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Vietnam. Later you will visit one of the villages around Tam Coc and cycle around and view the spectacular rice fields, rocky cliffs, lush green mountains, river streams, and Vietnamese landscapes. After this sightseeing trip to Tam Coc, you will return to your hotel in Hanoi and stay here for the night.
The day promises to be the most exciting day of this Vietnam Tour. After check-out from the hotel in Hanoi, we will escort you and transfer you to the cruise ship in Halong Bay, which will be your accommodation for the entire day and the following night. After some briefing about this Halong Bay Cruise, you will have lunch and you will view the beautiful Halong Bay islands and rocky cliffs as they lend spectacular scenery from the cruise ship. As the ship maneuvers and makes its way through the towering limestone cliffs you will enjoy your lunch even more. You can do more than just cruise here and take a kayak ride to Sung Got Cave, which is one of the spectacular caves in Halong Bay. You can visit Titov Island and here you can do several exciting activities like swimming or trekking up the island to view the Halong Bay area. Later you will return to the cruise ship and have incredible fun and games. You can enjoy the sunset views at Halong Bay and enjoy the party on the cruise ship along with fabulous cuisine and board games. You will have the rest of the time to your leisure on the cruise ship. Later you will rest and sleep for the night on the cruise ship.
You will wake up to spectacular sunrise views from the cruise ship in Halong Bay. Later you can join in the Tai Chi exercise session or indulge in selfies on the cruise ship. You will enjoy a delicious breakfast on the cruise ship. Later in the morning you will go on a kayak boat and visit the Bo Nau Caves, which are famous caves with incredible stalactites and stalagmites formations. You can explore a bit of the area and view the fantastic caves and nearby rock formations. Later you will return to the cruise ship and spend some time in the luxurious interiors of the ship. During this cruise ship tour of Halong Bay, you will go past the Ba Hang Fishing Village, Dog Islet, and more such wonderful places. You can watch a chef cut fruits in a professional style and after this cookery class, you will have lunch on the cruise ship. After lunch, you will disembark from the cruise ship and proceed to Hanoi. We will drop you at Hanoi Airport and you can take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. You can check-in at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on arrival and stay here for the night.
After breakfast, you will embark on a tour of Ho Chi Minh City, which was formerly known as Saigon. We will visit the famous tourist landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, and War Remnants Museum. Later in the day, you will go on a guided tour of Cu Chi Tunnels, which is a grave reminder of the brutal war history of the Vietnam War. Cu Chi Tunnels are a network of 200 km of tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City. During the Vietnam War times, Cu Chi Tunnels served as a mini city in itself, and there were many bunkers, trap doors, storage facilities, weapons factories, command centers, and hospitals within these tunnels. After watching a short video of Cu Chi Tunnels, you will enter the tunnels and view trapdoors, lifelike statues of soldiers, weapons, and arms, and factories of war weapons. You can have a meal of cassava and tea, which was the normal meal of the soldiers in Cu Chi Tunnels. After this, you can try your hand at shooting at moving objects at your own cost. After this visit, you will return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and rest here for the night.
You will go on a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, which is a city on the banks of the Mekong River and is located close to the Mekong River Delta. Here you will go to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, which is an enormous Buddha temple and pagoda with incredible architecture. There are many sculptures and idols of Buddha in different forms and postures. Later you can take a boat ride on the Mekong River and view the rice fields, fruit orchards, fishing villages, and small houses. You will reach Tortoise Islet, which is a river island in the Mekong River, and visit the fruit orchard here and have lunch. Later you will visit An Khanh, which is also situated on the Mekong River. Here you can ride on a sampan, which is a hand-roved boat, and visit the natural canals, inlets, mangrove swamps, and coconut trees. You will experience the traditional Vietnamese hospitality when you taste the delicious fruits grown here with tea in the sampan boat with rural music and folk tunes. You can explore the villages and rural households where you will come to know about the pastoral life here in the Mekong Delta. After this visit, you will return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and stay here for the night.
Today is the last day of this Vietnam Tour. After breakfast, you will check-out from Ho Chi Minh City and we will drop you to the airport. You will leave Vietnam with pleasant memories of this tour.
