1Day Arrival in Guwahati + Kaziranga

Your North East Tour will start as you arrive in Guwahati. We will pick you up from your chosen location and then drive on to Kaziranga. This drive is around 5-63 hours by car. On arriving in Kaziranga you will check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at the hotel.

2Day Kaziranga Safari

You will begin this day with a 1-hour elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park. This is one of the best places in India to spot the one-horned rhino. Kaziranga National Park is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Assam. You can also spot water buffalo, tigers, swamp deer, and other animals. Later you can enjoy a relaxing time at the tea gardens around Kaziranga National Park. You can have a stroll around the tea gardens and have a nice hot cup of tea and also enjoy the aromatic fragrance of the fresh tea leaves. You can return to your resort in Kaziranga and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

3Day Kaziranga to Dirang

You will visit another famous North East destination of this tour, which is Dirang. You will arrive in Dirang after a cab drive of around 7-8 hours from Kaziranga. Check-in at the hotel in Dirang and then visit Dirang Fort or the hot water springs here. You can also explore the local market in the evening. Dirang is famous for its peach and apple orchards. You can see them many times during your stay at Dirang. You can also visit the Sheep Farm here at Sangti Valley and see the most beautiful scenic landscapes of the snow-capped mountains, river streams, and valleys. Later you can spend the rest of the day at the hotel.

4Day Dirang to Tawang

On this day we will check out from Dirang and visit Tawang. This will be a drive of around 5-6 hours by car. It is the most scenic car journey and you will drive on serpentine zigzag roads with deep valleys and mountains on either side. The spectacular mountain landscapes, the Dirang river flowing parallel to your route, alpine grasslands, scenic lakes, and bridges will add excitement to the tour. On the route, you can visit many places such as Paradise Lake, Jung Fall, and Jaswant Garh Memorial. You will go on the Sela Pass, which is a high-altitude mountain pass. You can check-in at your pre-booked hotel in Tawang and then rest for the night.

5Day Tawang sightseeing

After breakfast, we will visit some popular sightseeing places in Tawang. This is one of the very scenic hill stations in Arunachal Pradesh. The major and most popular sightseeing place in Tawang is the Tawang Monastery. This Buddhist monastery is more than 400-year-old monastery. We will then visit other famous sightseeing place in Tawang, which is Tawang War Memorial and Tawang Ropeway. A ride on Tawang Ropeway will make you look wonderfully at the surreal snow-capped mountains and valleys. We will visit the Bumla Pass which is a high-altitude mountain pass near the Indo-Chinese border. The mountain pass is at an altitude of 16000 feet. On the route, we will also visit some spectacular lakes like Pangateng Tso Lake, which is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Madhuri Lake is another lake which we will visit and this lake is named because a song was shot here from the movie Koyla and this song featured Madhuri Dixit, the famous Bollywood actor. 6Day Tawang to Bomdila

We will now check out from Tawang and drive to yet another famous North East destination, which is called Bomdila. On the route, you can visit the Bomdila Monastery. The trip to Bomdila is about 6 hours and you can check-in at the hotel and rest overnight.

7Day Bomdila to Tezpur

We will now visit another famous destination of this tour, which is Tezpur. The driving time from Bomdila to Tezpur is around 4-5 hours. On arrival in Tezpur, you can check-in at the hotel and then we will spend the rest of the day sightseeing around Tezpur. This is a city in Assam and is situated on the mighty Brahmaputra River. The first place we will visit in Tezpur is Agnigarh. This is a small hill in Tezpur, where, according to Hindu mythology, the demon king Banasur kept his daughter Usha in isolation. Later we will visit Chitralekha Udyan and it is a beautiful garden and park with lots of flowers and a small pond. We will visit the Mahabhairav Temple, which is a Shiva temple in Tezpur. You can spend the remaining day at your hotel in Tezpur and have a stroll in the local market and buy some Assamese silk sarees. Later you can taste some delicious food in your hotel and rest overnight.

8Day Tezpur to Guwahati

We will proceed to checkout from Tezpur and visit Guwahati on this day. The cab drive from Tezpur will take around 5-6 hours to reach Guwahati. On arrival in Guwahati, check-in at the hotel and then proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple. This is one of the greatest temples of Devi Shakti and is famous for its tantric practices. You can have a boat ride in the Brahmaputra river in Guwahati and visit Navgraha Temple. You can keep the evening free and dine in a popular restaurant.

9Day Checkout from Guwahati and drop

You can now checkout from Guwahati and this is the end of this tour. We will drop you at the Guwahati railway station or Guwahati airport from where you can take a return flight or train to your home town.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
