Your North East Tour will start on your arrival in Dibrugarh. Our tour representative will receive you at the Dibrugarh Airport or railway station and drive to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. You can check-in at the houseboat or eco camp and spend the rest of the day at leisure and rest overnight.
We will spend the entire day on a sightseeing tour and wildlife safari in Dibru Saikhowa National Park. You can spot many jungle creatures here like leopards, tigers, sloth bears, and Malabar giant squirrels. But the creature that you must see here is the Feral Horse, which are wild animals that roam freely in this national park. You can stay overnight at the houseboat or camp and rest for the day.
You will now check out from your camp at Dibru Saikhowa and proceed to another famous destination in the North East which is the beautiful lake of Maguri Beel. This lake is very close to Dibru Saikhowa National Park and is visited by many migratory bird species. If you are lucky, you can spot the Mandarin Duck, White-winged wood duck, and other birds here. Next, you will drive on to visit the temple known as Tilanga Mandir. This temple is famous for its bells which are tied to a peepal tree. Local people have tremendous faith in the deity of this temple, Lord Shiva, and believe that he will fulfill their wishes. Later visit the Bherjan-Borajan-Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot the hoolock gibbon and other creatures. Later we will drive to Sivasagar. On arrival in Sivasagar, you can check-in at your pre-booked hotel and rest overnight.
Today we will check out from Sivasagar and then visit some local attractions in Sivasagar such as Sivasagar Tank, Sivadol Temples, Rang Ghar, and Talatal Ghar. Later catch a ferry from Nimati Ghat to Majuli Island. You will check-in at the resort, lodge, or hotel in Majuli and rest overnight.
We will begin this day with a sightseeing tour of Majuli Island. You will see various birds like storks, ducks, and herons on your Majuli trip. Majuli is one of the biggest river islands in the entire world and is famous for its Vaishnavite culture and temples. The Brahmaputra River is the river on which the island is situated. You will spot lush green vegetation here and various water inlets, canals, and greenery. You will visit the famous Kamalabari Satra, Auniati Satra, and Samaguri Satra. On the tour, you can also visit pottery villages and get to know about the rustic life of the artisans who make masks and pottery. These are the handicrafts that Assam is very famous for. Later you will return to your hotel in Majuli and rest overnight.
You will now check out from Majuli and a ferry ride back to Nimati Ghat. You will now proceed to visit the famous Kaziranga National Park. You will visit the famous Negheriting Shiva Temple at Dergaon. Later on arrival in Kaziranga, you can check-in at the lodge or resort and rest for the night.
You will begin this day with a safari tour of Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park is the home of the one-horned rhinoceros, a magnificent creature that you can only see in the North East India. You can spot this magnificent beast in the tall grass. You can also spot tigers, swamp deer, water buffalo, and other creatures in the jungle. Later after this safari, you can visit some tea gardens nearby. Here you can get some knowledge about tea leaves and the production of tea. You can visit the Orchid Museum later and enjoy some cultural shows. You can now spend your rest of the day in Kaziranga jungle lodge or resort.
You will now check out from Kaziranga on this day and drive to Guwahati. This city is one of the largest cities in the state of Assam. On arrival, you can check-in at the hotel and then go for a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River. You will enjoy this river cruise as the sunset colors will illuminate the river waters. Enjoy the scenes of the mighty river and the live music on the cruise boat. You will get to know about the Brahmaputra and Assam history in the narration on the boat. Later you can spend the rest of the day at leisure at your hotel.
You will begin this day with a sightseeing tour of Guwahati. You will see popular sightseeing places here such as Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple, and Basistha Temple. In the evening you can visit the Dighali Pukhuri Lake and Assam State Museum. At night you can dine at a popular restaurant in Guwahati and return to your hotel for a rest.
You will now conclude this fascinating North East Tour with checkout from Guwahati. We will drop you at the Guwahati Airport or Guwahati Railway Station from where you can board a flight or train to your home town.
