Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrival in Haridwar

The Chardham Yatra package starts after you arrive in Haridwar. Our tour representative will meet you at the chosen pickup point in Haridwar. Then drive to Barkot. We will pass Mussoorie on the way to Barkot. You can make short halts at Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Falls, which are very famous tourist places in Mussoorie. After you reach Barkot, you can check into the pre-booked hotel. You can explore the local area in Barkot and spend the time at leisure. After dinner, you will spend the night in the hotel.

2Day Trip to Yamunotri + Return to Barkot

Today you will visit the first dham of this Chardham Yatra. You will wake up early and after breakfast, visit Yamunotri. This is the first pilgrimage place you will visit in this char dham yatra journey. This will be an exciting day when you will reach Janki Chatti or Phoolchatti by car. Then you will trek for 6 km to Yamunotri. You can also take a doli (palanquin) or pony ride at your own cost.

You can have a darshan of the temple deity of Yamunotri Temple. There is a hot water spring near the temple called Surya Kund, where you can have a dip. After darshan, you can spend some time near the temple and shop for puja items. Later you will return to Janki Chatti by foot/ pony/ doli and drive to Barkot. You will have dinner in the hotel restaurant and then spend the night in the hotel.

3Day Barkot to Uttarkashi

You will have breakfast in the hotel and then check-out from Barkot. Today we will reach Uttarkashi in this 4 Dham Yatra package. The drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi is approximately 4 hours by car. You will check into the hotel on reaching Uttarkashi. After you have refreshed yourself, we will take you to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The temple is a very holy temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After this visit, you can spend some time in the local bazaar in Uttarkashi. Here, you can shop for puja items and religious books. Later we will drop you off at the hotel. You will have dinner and then an overnight stay in the hotel.

4Day Darshan of Gangotri

You will have an early breakfast and then leave for Gangotri. This is the second pilgrimage place of the Chardham Yatra tour package. On the way, you can have a refreshing dip in the hot water spring at Gangnani. You can continue your journey to Gangotri after the dip. You can admire the views of Harsil Valley on the route. This valley is full of deodar forests and mountains in the distance make a scenic backdrop.

On reaching Gangotri, you can first take a dip in the Ganges river, which is called Bhagirathi here. You can have darshan and puja in the Gangotri Temple and spend some time in the temple. Enjoy the views of the surroundings and then return to Uttarkashi. After dinner, you can have an overnight stay in the hotel in Uttarkashi.

5Day Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

After dinner, you will check-out from the hotel. Today we will proceed to Guptkashi, which is another destination of this char dham package. Guptkashi is a holy town on the banks of the Mandakini River, which originates at Kedarnath. On the way to Guptkashi, we will pass through the villages like Lambgaon and Moolgarh. You can view the Mandakini River flow along your route.

On reaching Guptkashi, you can check into the hotel. After you have refreshed yourself, we will visit some temples like Ardhnareshwar Temple. The temple is one of the famous temples in Guptkashi. Later you can have dinner in the hotel restaurant and overnight stay in the hotel.

6Day Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Today is going to be an exciting day in this Chardham tour package. After an early breakfast, you will visit Kedarnath. This place is regarded as the holiest Shiva temple in India. Kedarnath is part of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Lord Shiva.

We will drive you to Sonprayag, where you can board a jeep and reach Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, there is a one-way trek of 19 km to reach Kedarnath Temple. You can take a palki/ pony and reach the temple. On the way you can enjoy the views of the Mandakini River and Himalayan mountains in the distance. You can do darshan in Kedarnath Temple and spend some time here. The views of the icy glaciers and snow-clad mountain peaks in the distance will fill you with excitement.

After spending some time at Kedarnath Temple, you can visit nearby places like Bheem Shila, and Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi. We will check into the guesthouse/ hotel in Kedarnath and stay here for the night.

7Day Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Today, in this cheapest char dham Yatra package, you will do darshan and puja in Kedarnath Temple in the morning. After breakfast, you will begin your return trek to Gaurikund/ Sonprayag. We will drive to Guptkashi and you can check into the hotel. You will have the entire day with you to spend at leisure. Explore the local market or some temples. Later have dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.

8Day Guptkashi to Badrinath

As per our Char dham yatra booking, we will check-out from Guptkashi. We will drive to Badrinath, which is our last Char Dham pilgrimage place. Check into the hotel on arrival and then proceed to visit Badrinath Temple. You can have a hot water bath at Tapt Kund, which is a natural hot water spring near Badrinath Temple.

Later go for darshan and aarti at Badrinath Temple. You can visit other places in Badrinath such as Brahma Kapal, Vyas Gufa, Mana, Mata Murti, and Charanpaduka. You can also visit Bhimkund, which has the Mukh or the source of the Saraswati River. All these places are within 3 km of Badrinath Temple. You can participate in the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple and then stay in the hotel for the night.

9Day Badrinath to Rudraprayag

Today as per our char dham yatra package for senior citizens, we will check-out from the hotel in Badrinath. We will now proceed to our next destination, which is Rudraprayag. On the route to Rudraprayag, we will make a short halt at Joshimath. This town is immensely holy and was established as one of the four math by Adi Shankaracharya. Here we will visit Narsingh Temple. This temple is dedicated to one of the divine forms of Lord Vishnu, known as Narasimha. The idol of Badrinath Temple is brought to this temple during the winter season.

On arrival in Rudraprayag, you will check into the hotel. You can view the confluence of two rivers – Alaknanda and Mandakini at Rudraprayag. This town of Rudraprayag is counted among the five Panch Prayag in Uttarakhand. After you have spent some time at the river confluence, you will return to the hotel and stay here for the night.

10Day Rudraprayag to Haridwar

In the morning you will check-out from Rudraprayag and proceed to Haridwar. You will pass through Rishikesh, which is a very holy town near Haridwar. Rishikesh is well-known for its Yoga schools and spiritual ashrams. Here you can visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, etc. After you have spent some time in Rishikesh, we will drop you to Haridwar. You can board the train/ bus to your hometown. Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
