Two national parks in Chhattisgarh, the Kanger Valley National Park and Indravati National Park are famous for their wildlife and natural beauty. You can go for a jeep safari in these national parks and view the wild creatures from a close distance. You will visit the most famous Chitrakote Waterfalls and the limestone caves that have existed here since prehistoric times. You can visit a traditional market of Bastar tribes and this is a golden chance to immerse yourself into the rustic and untamed beauty of these tribal people. 1Day Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

Today is the first day of this Chhattisgarh Wildlife and Tribal Tour. Our tour representative will pick you up from Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. You can do check-in and then spend the rest of the day at leisure.

2Day Day 2 - Delhi sightseeing

Today you will go on a sightseeing trip to Delhi and visit its most famous heritage monuments. You will visit the old streets of Chandni Chowk where you can see the various havelis and old mansions. We will visit the famous Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, and drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House. We will visit Rajghat, Jama Masjid and Lodhi Garden. In the evening you can keep the time for leisure and some shopping. You will have dinner and then rest and overnight stay in Delhi.

3Day Day 3 - Delhi to Raipur

Today you will check-out from Delhi and take the flight to Raipur. Our tour representative will greet you at Raipur Airport and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. You will check-in at the hotel and then spend the day at leisure. You will have an overnight stay in Raipur.

4Day Day 4 - Raipur to Jagdalpur

Today you will check-out from Raipur and proceed to visit Jagdalpur by car. This Raipur Jagdalpur drive will be around 6-7 hours. On the way, you will pass through the lush green surroundings of Keshkal and the tribal belt of Bastar. These regions are hilly areas where many tribes of Chhattisgarh live. Some of the tribals who live here are Gond, Bison Horn Maria, and others. On arrival in Jagdalpur, you will check into the hotel and overnight stay in Jagdalpur.

5Day Day 5 - Jagdalpur to Indravati National Park

This morning you will check-out from Jagdalpur and drive to Kutru village. After hotel check-in, we will visit Indravati National Park. This national park is one of the tiger reserves in Chhattisgarh. Indravati river flows through this national park and hence it got its name from this river. Indravati National Park has grasslands, tropical forests, and hilly terrain. You can go for a jeep safari in Indravati National Park and spot the wild animals who live here. Indravati National Park is home to a large number of wild water buffaloes, gaurs, barking deer, nilgai, chital, sambar, Indian spotted chevrotain, sloth bears, tiger, leopards, dholes, pangolins, porcupines, and other mammals. Hill Myna is a common bird you can find here. You will return to your hotel and stay here for the night.

6Day Day 6 - Kuture to Kanger Valley National Park to Jagdalpur

After you have checked out of Kuture you will proceed to Jagdalpur. On the way, you can visit Kanger Valley National Park. This national park has very dense forests, valleys, gorges, hilly areas, marshlands, and rivers. The main attractions of Kangar Valley National Park are the subterranean limestone caves. The Kotamsar and Kailash caves are very famous limestone caves. You can find wild beasts such as tigers, leopards, bison, jackals, langurs, wild cats, mouse deer, hyenas, jungle fowl, spotted owlet, hill myna, and many other creatures. After this visit to Kanger Valley National Park, you will continue your journey to Jagdalpur. On arrival, you will do hotel check-in and then overnight stay in Jagdalpur.

7Day Day 7 - Excursion to Chitrakote and Nagarnar

Today you will go on an excursion to the famous Chitrakote Waterfalls. This waterfall is close to Jagdalpur and is very famous for its milky white waters and natural beauty. Chitrakote Waterfall is famously called ‘India’s Niagara Falls’. The waterfall is on the Indravati River and you can go for a boat ride and go close to the famous waterfalls. Later you can visit Nagarnar, which is famous for the tribal handicrafts of Bastar tribes. The terracotta figures are a reflection of the Bastar tribal culture and show the dance, animals, and folk plays of the tribes. Later after this visit you will return to the hotel in Jagdalpur and stay here for the night.

8Day Day 8 - Jagdalpur sightseeing

Today we will visit a tribal market and view the various artisans and tribal people of the Bastar region. You can view the ornaments, jewelry, and attire of the Bastar tribes, and learn a few things about their daily life and lifestyle. You will return to the hotel in Jagdalpur after this visit and stay here for the night.

9Day Day 9 - Jagdalpur to Raipur via Narayanpur

After check-out from Jagdalpur, we will proceed to Raipur. On the way, we will visit Narayanpur, which is a famous handicraft. You can also visit the Ramakrishna Narayan Center on the way. After you arrive at Raipur you will check-in at the hotel and stay here for the night.

10Day Day 10 - Raipur to Delhi + Departure from Delhi

Today you will check-out from Raipur and proceed to the airport, from where you will board the scheduled flight to Delhi. Our tour representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station. You can board the flight/ train and return to your hometown after this Chhattisgarh Wildlife and Tribal Tour.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
