Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrive in Delhi

Today is the starting day of this East India Wildlife Tour. As you arrive in Delhi our tour representative will pick you up at Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station. Later we will drop you at your pre-booked hotel in Delhi. You can do hotel check-in and then spend the rest of the day at leisure and overnight rest.

2Day Delhi sightseeing

Today you will go on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. We will visit Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Later we will visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate. After this visit, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure and have an overnight stay in Delhi.

3Day Delhi sightseeing

Today we will visit Old Delhi and its famous sites. This includes Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat. In the evening we will visit Chandni Chowk and you can have a rickshaw ride here. You can taste famous Delhi street food and do some shopping on the way. Later you will return to your hotel and have overnight rest.

4Day Delhi to Kaziranga National Park via Guwahati

Today you will board a flight from Delhi and reach Guwahati Airport. From there go by cab to Kaziranga National Park. Check into your jungle resort/ lodge on arrival in Kaziranga. Famous for its one-horned rhino, Kaziranga ranks among the finest national parks in India. It is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam. In the evening you can enjoy a Bihu folk dance performance and bonfire dinner. Have overnight rest and stay in Kaziranga.

5Day Kaziranga National Park Elephant Safari

You can go on a nature walk in Kaziranga in the morning and then go for the elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park. You can spot the one-horned rhino, swamp buffalo, swamp deer, and many other mammals, birds, and reptiles. The marshlands, tall elephant grass, Brahmaputra river, water bodies, and tropical forests in Kaziranga are ideal habitats for wild buffalo, rhinos, and wild elephants. You can visit a tribal village in the evening and see the rearing of silkworms. After this safari, you can return to your jungle resort and rest here for the night.

6Day Kaziranga National Park

Go for an elephant safari in Kaziranga in the morning hours and spot the one-horned rhino in the dense forests. You can also view other creatures like Bengal Florican, hog deer, Swamp Francolin, and Indian Muntjac. An elephant safari is not the only thing you can do in Kaziranga. But there are a lot of other things in store for you on this day. Next up after this elephant safari is the stroll in a tea garden. You will visit a tea factory and learn about the entire processing of tea from tea leaves. You will now have dinner in your resort and an overnight stay.

7Day Kaziranga to Kalimpong

Today you will check-out from Kaziranga and reach Guwahati Airport and board the flight to Bagdogra. When you reach Bagdogra Airport you will drive by cab to Kalimpong, one of the fantastic hill stations in West Bengal. The natural scenery on the road to Kalimpong is one of the most stunning. On reaching Kalimpong you will do hotel check-in and then rest here for the night.

8Day Kalimpong Sightseeing

Today you will go on a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. We will tour popular places in Kalimpong such as The Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, Pine View Nursery, Lepcha Museum, View Point, and others. In the evening you will have an overnight stay in the hotel in Kalimpong.

9Day Kalimpong to Kolkata

In the morning you will enjoy river rafting in the Teesta River. Later, you will check-out from Kalimpong and we will drive you to Siliguri Railway Station, and you can board the train to Kolkata. This will be an overnight train journey to Kolkata.

10Day Arrival in Kolkata + Sightseeing in Kolkata

When you reach Kolkata you will check into the pre-booked hotel in Kolkata. You will now get ready for a sightseeing tour of Kolkata. We will visit famous places in Kolkata such as Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, Birla Planetarium, etc. You will rest in the hotel after this sightseeing tour of Kolkata and have an overnight stay.

11Day Kolkata to Sunderbans National Park

Today you will drive to Basanti, from where you will board the riverboat for the Sunderbans National Park. This motor boat cruise will cruise along the waters of the Sunderbans, which is counted among the finest river deltas in the world. The Bengal Tigers are the most famous wild animals in the Sunderbans, and you can also spot birds, snakes, and reptiles. The waterways, mangrove forests, and swamps in the Sunderbans teem with wild animals such as Bengal Tigers, Jungle Cat, Leopard Cat, crocodiles, turtles, mongooses, fishing cats, and lots of other wildlife. You will stay in the houseboat for the night and enjoy meals on the boat.

12Day Sunderbans National Park

Today you will have the whole day for a cruise in the Sunderbans Delta. The sights of the mangrove forests, the swampy lands, the small fishing villages, and the vegetation will lure you into ecstasy. In the evening you will reach Sajnekhali. The Mangrove Interpretation Center will help you learn about the delicate ecosystem of the Sunderbans. You can enjoy the refreshments and watch a video film about the Sunderbans and life in the Sunderbans Delta. You will spend the night in the houseboat.

13Day Sunderbans to Kolkata

Today you will visit the Rangabelia Taagore Society via a rickshaw ride and view the rural culture and rural developments. Later you will arrive in Basanti and return to Kolkata. You will stay overnight in Kolkata in the hotel.

14Day Departure from Kolkata + Flight to Delhi

You will depart Kolkata and take the morning flight to Delhi. You can spend the day at leisure in Delhi. You can do shopping and explore the local area. Later you will reach Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station and resume your onward journey to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
