Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrival in Bangalore

Your tour starts as you arrive in Bangalore. Our tour representative will pick you up from the Bangalore Airport/ Bangalore Railway Station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. After check-in at the hotel, you will go on a sightseeing tour of Bangalore and visit such places as Vidhana Soudha, which is a magnificent building with incredible architecture. You can explore the local market in Bangalore and later return to your hotel and have a rest.

2Day Bangalore to Mysore

In the morning you will tour Bangalore and visit some more tourist attractions. We will take you by car to visit these monuments. You will visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. The Mughal architecture of this palace is awe-inspiring. Next, you will visit the Lal Bagh Gardens and ISKCON Temple. After check-out from the hotel, you will now visit another famous destination of this tour, which is Mysore. On the way, you can make a short halt and visit the magnificent palace of Tipu Sultan at Srirangapatnam. You can check-in at your hotel in Mysore and then visit Devaraja Market, which is a huge market of flowers, fruits, spices, silk sarees, incense sticks, and sandalwood products. Later you can have a rest in your hotel in Mysore.

3Day Mysore sightseeing

You will tour the famous tourist attractions of Mysore on this day after breakfast. You will visit the famous Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hill, Brindavan Gardens, and Sri Chamundeshwari Temple. You can visit the Krishnaraj Sagara Dam, where you can do boating and have leisurely walks. If you are lucky, you might spot various birds and animals here. After spending some relaxing moments here you will return to Mysore and spend the rest of the day at your hotel.

4Day Mysore to Ooty

In the morning you will proceed to yet another famous destination of this South India Tour, which is the hill station of Ooty. On the route, you can visit the Mudumalai and Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuaries. The road passes through the lush green evergreen forests and you will come across waterfalls, valleys, mountains, and deep forests. When you arrive in Ooty, you will do check-in at the hotel. Then you will visit various Ooty attractions like Rose Garden, Emerald Lake, Tea Factory, and St. Stephen Church. One of the best attractions in Ooty is the Nilgiri Mountain Railway Line or the Ooty Toy Train. The train passes through some incredible mountain scenery, tunnels, hairpin bends, and sharp curves. In the evening you will return to your hotel in Ooty and rest here overnight.

5Day Ooty to Cochin

In the morning you can check-out from Ooty and proceed to visit Cochin. This city on the backwaters of Kerala was a historic port on the ancient sea route. You can check-in at the hotel in Cochin, and then enjoy the performance of the Kathakali dance. The costumes, make-up, masks, facial expressions, and dance movements of the Kathakali artiste will be a treat to watch. Later you will dine on South Indian delicacies and seafood in your hotel in Cochin. Later you will rest here for the night and prepare for another exciting day of sightseeing.

6Day Cochin to Alleppey

You will go on a tour of the historic part of Cochin on this day. You will experience the grandeur of Fort Kochi and its various historic monuments. Mattancherry Palace is a magnificent palace with impressive paintings, Hindu art, murals, and woodcraft. You will visit the Jewish Synagogue, which is one of the oldest Jewish settlements in India. You will visit historic churches and cathedrals such as St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica. You will view the Chinese fishing nets which were introduced by the Chinese way back during the rule of Kublai Khan in 1350 AD. Later you will check-out from Cochin and proceed to visit Alleppey. When you arrive in Alleppey you can check-in at the houseboat for this tour. You will now explore the idyllic backwaters of Kerala and view the various canals, waterways, narrow lagoons, inlets, and small islands. You will experience the rustic village life of the villages on the backwaters and how they earn their livelihood. You will have dinner in the houseboat and later rest in the houseboat.

7Day Arrive in Kumarakom

On this day you will check-out from your houseboat in Alleppey and proceed to Kumarakom by car. Kumarakom is one of the best tourist destinations in Kerala and is another place to experience the Kerala backwaters. When you arrive in Kumarakom you will check-in at the houseboat and explore the Vembanad Lake. This Vembanad Lake ranks among the largest lakes in Kerala. You will now visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, and this sanctuary is a haven for many birds such as herons, egrets, storks, snake birds, etc. You will have to use your binoculars and DSLR cameras to spot and photograph the rich birdlife on the lake. You can now rest overnight in your houseboat in Kumarakom.

8Day Kumarakom to Kovalam

You will now check-out from Kumarakom and proceed to visit yet another famous destination of this South India Tour, which is Kovalam. This is a beach destination in Kerala and the beaches here are the main tourist attractions. After you arrive in Kovalam you can check-in at the hotel and then proceed to visit the two best beaches here, Kovalam Beach and Samudra Beach. These beaches are stretches of white sands and turquoise blue waters of the Arabian Sea. You will find many luxury beachside resorts in Kovalam. You can have Ayurvedic massages and herbal spas in your resort. You can take beach walks and admire the sunsets from Kovalam beaches. If you have time you can also enjoy water sports here such as jet skiing, parasailing, speed boating, scuba diving, etc. Now you can return to your hotel in Kovalam and stay here overnight.

9Day Kovalam

You will have a full day to enjoy the beaches in Kovalam. You can have a relaxing and exciting time enjoying various water sports activities and spa massages in Kovalam.

10Day Arrive in Trivandrum

You can now check-out from Kovalam and proceed to visit Trivandrum. The new name of Trivandrum is Thiruvananthapuram. This city is famous for its magnificent temples, museums, beaches, and backwater tours. On arrival in Trivandrum, you can check-in at the hotel and then go on a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. The most famous temple in Trivandrum is the Padmabhswamy Temple. Padmabhaswamy Temple ranks in the list of all the richest temples in India. You will visit the Sree Chitra Art Gallery, which has a huge collection of paintings. You will find paintings by famous painters like Raja Ravi Verma and a rare collection of Tibetan thangka paintings, Japanese, Balinese, Tanjore paintings, and prehistoric paintings. After this visit, you will visit the Napier Museum, Science and Technology Museum, Veli Lake Tourist Village, Shangmugham Beach, and Akkulam Lake backwaters. At the end of this tour, you will return to your hotel in Trivandrum and rest overnight.

11Day Departure from Trivandrum

You have now reached the end of this tour. In the morning you can have some time shopping in local bazaars or relax in the hotel. Afterward, you will check-out from your hotel and we will drop you at Trivandrum Airport or Trivandrum Railway Station and you can take a flight or train to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
