Golden Temple

Golden Temple in Amritsar is a Gurudwara which is known as Shri Harmandir Sahib. it is called the Golden Temple due to the golden leaf on the monument. Golden Temple is famous for its langar, which is a free meal that is given to all the visitors who visit the gurudwara. The kitchen in Golden Temple ranks among the biggest community kitchens in the entire world. Any tour of Amritsar is incomplete without a tour of the Golden Temple. The Sarovar in the temple is a holy place where you will see people taking a dip. The museum in the Golden Temple has several collections of Sikh religion such as swords, paintings, combs, etc. The gurudwara is open to people of all castes and creeds and they are free to pray here.

Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh is a memorial that was built in honor of the martyrs of India’s freedom movement. The massacre happened in Jallianwala Bagh in 1919 and is ranked among the deadliest incidents in India's freedom movement. You can still see the bullet marks on the walls of this memorial. The well in which many people flung themselves to escape the bullets of the British soldiers is also a major monument here that you must visit.

Durgiana Mandir

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum in Amritsar is one of the major museums that we will visit in this Full Day Amritsar Sightseeing tour. Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum is one of the best museums in the entire Punjab state. This museum was initially used as a summer palace for Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the king of the Sikh religion. This palace was later converted into a museum in 1977. You can visit the museum and view many exhibits and ancient relics in this museum. Some of them date back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Among other things you can view in this museum are paintings weapons, battle armors, ancient coins, manuscripts, etc.

Wagah Border

One of the popular and famous sightseeing places in Amritsar is the Wagah Border. This is a border that divides India from Pakistan. Wagah Border is the most exciting place to visit in the evening and it is a time when the flag ceremony takes place at Wagah Border. The ceremony is a brave and heroic display of devotion from both the Indian and Pakistani soldiers. They march and utter loud voices and parade to show off their love for their nation. National anthems of both countries are played here and people gather in large numbers to participate in this event.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
