The Beatles Ashram

Neer Garh Waterfall
The next place that you will visit in this one-day Rishikesh sightseeing tour is a waterfall called Neer Garh Waterfall. You will have to hike for 10 to 15 minutes to reach this waterfall. There is a series of waterfalls over here and a small pool that is formed below the waterfall. You will enjoy the waterfalls and the surrounding greenery. Lakshman Jhula
There is no better place that is as famous as the Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh. Laxman Jhula is a suspension bridge that was built on the river Ganga in Rishikesh. Lakshman Jhula is named after Laxman, who was the brother of Lord Ram. It is said that he built the original bridge here in mythological times, and crossed the river Ganga. The bridge was made of a jute rope and it was later replaced by the iron bridge. It is called Lakshman Jhula in memory of Laxman. You can cross Laxman Jhula on foot and this is also one of the best activities that you can do in Rishikesh.

Permarth Niketan
Parmarth Niketan is an ashram in Rishikesh and it is situated on the banks of the Ganga river. Permarth Niketan offers accommodation facilities for tourists, along with meditation and Yoga courses. These activities which are offered by this ashram are very popular with tourists. You will find the huge statue of Lord Shiva in meditating position in Parmarth Niketan. You will watch students practicing yoga courses and meditation courses here. There is also an Ayurvedic massage center here which offers services at very cheap rates.

Triveni Ghat

This ghat is said to be the place where three holy rivers, the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati meet.
