Your Kolkata Orissa Tour will start as you arrive in Kolkata. Our tour representative will pick you up from Kolkata Railway Station/ Airport and drive to the hotel. You will check-in at the hotel and rest here for the night.
Today you will explore the big city of Kolkata and visit its most famous and historic sites. We have included the most famous places in this Kolkata sightseeing tour. You will visit St. Paul’s Cathedral and Victoria Memorial, these two are the most impressive monuments with British colonial architecture. Later you will return to your hotel in Kolkata and have dinner with an overnight hotel stay.
Today we will visit some cultural tourist attractions in Kolkata. In the morning we will visit Ramkrishna Math. The incredible architecture of this monument is a very beautiful sight. Swami Vivekananda set this up and the monks here walk on the path of the principles of Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Swami Vivekananda. Later we will visit Kalighat, which is the main temple of Goddess Kali. This temple is a Shaktipeeth Temple and one of the major temples in West Bengal. We will now visit Missionaries of Charity, which was set up by Mother Teresa. After this sightseeing tour of Kolkata, you will return to your hotel and rest for the night.
Today you will check-out from Kolkata and reach Bhubaneswar. After checking in at the hotel you will rest here for the night.
After breakfast, we will go on a full-day sightseeing tour of Bhubaneswar. The city of Bhubaneswar is famous for its Hindu temples and Buddhist cave monasteries. We will visit famous temples like Rajarani Temple, Lingaraja Temple, Brahmeshwar Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, and others. These temples are the finest examples of ancient Indian architecture. We will now visit the Buddhist archaeological site of Khandagiri. The caves here are the perfect example of early Buddhist cave architecture in India. After this sightseeing trip to Bhubaneswar, we will drop you to the hotel and you can have dinner and an overnight stay.
Today we will visit the most famous temple in Orissa, which is called Konark Sun Temple. This temple is a wonder of ancient Indian architecture and one of the most famous sun temples in India. The sculptures, carvings, and temple architecture, make this one of the foremost sun temples in India. Later you will drive to Puri and have an overnight stay at the hotel.
Today we will go on a sightseeing tour of Puri and the most famous temple that we will visit during the day is the Jagannath Puri Temple. This temple is famous for its Chariot Festival or Rath Yatra. The main deities of this temple are Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. The deities are taken on a huge procession in Puri and are decorated for this event. Millions of people from all over the world participate in this epic religious ceremony. After you have darshan in this temple you will return to your hotel in Puri and rest here for the night.
Today you can visit the markets in Puri and shop for some souvenirs. Or you can visit Puri Beach, which is a very famous beach with beautiful seashore and sunset views. You can explore the shops and view the marvelous collection of conches, shells, cowries, silk sarees, toys, etc. After this exploration in Puri, you can return to your hotel and rest here for the night.
Today you will check-out from Puri and reach Gopalpur, which is a coastal town in Orissa. You can check-in at the hotel on arrival in Gopalpur and then rest here for the night.
Today you can keep the whole day for sightseeing in Gopalpur. You can visit Gopalpur Beach and other beaches like Haripur Beach, Dhabaleshwar Beach, and Markandi Beach. You can spend many hours relaxing moments at these beaches. Later you will return to your hotel in the evening and have dinner with an overnight stay.
Today you will check-out from Gopalpur and drive on to Bhubaneswar. On the way, you can make a stop at a turtle nesting site, which is on Puranabandha Sea Beach. Onwards, you can also make short halts at viewpoints from where you can watch the magnificent natural scenery of Chilika Lake. On arriving in Bhubaneswar you can check-in at the hotel and rest here for the night.
Today you will take the flight to Kolkata. On arriving in Kolkata you will check-in at the hotel and then spend the rest of the day at leisure.
You will check-out from Kolkata today and we will drop you at Kolkata Airport/ Railway Station, and you can take the scheduled flight/ train to your hometown.
