Your tour will start when you arrive in Mumbai. Our tour representative will pick you up from Mumbai Airport/ Railway Station and transfer you to the hotel. Later you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Caves, which are the ancient Buddhist caves with rock-cut temples and Buddhist sculptures. Elephanta Caves is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of early Buddhist architecture in Maharashtra. The star attractions in these caves are the rock-cut sculptures of Trimurti, Yogishwara, and Nataraja. You will now visit the Prince of Wales Museum and you can view various exhibits like the early Gupta, Maurya, Chalukya, and Rashtrakuta empires as well as relics from Indus Valley Civilization. You will now visit Mani Bhawan, which was the residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Here you can view various objects used by Mahatma Gandhi such as the Charkha, photographs, and book collection among other things. You will now visit Dhobi Ghat, which is a huge open-air laundry. Later have a stroll on Marine Drive. You will now return to your hotel and rest here for the night.
After check-out from Mumbai, you will visit Ahmedabad by flight. Our tour representative will greet you at the airport and then transfer you to the pre-booked hotel in Ahmedabad. You will now go for a guided sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad. We will take you to some of the most famous tourist attractions in Ahmedabad such as Dada Harir Vav, Jama Masjid, Hutheesing Jain Temple, Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Swaminarayan Temple. Later you will return to your hotel in Ahmedabad and stay here for the night.
You will proceed to visit some of the architectural gems near Ahmedabad. These places are some of the finest examples of architecture and Gujarat heritage. We will take you on a visit to Modhera Sun Temple, which is a temple of the Sun God Surya. You will later visit Rani ki Vav in Patan, which is a huge stepwell. The stepwell is ranked among the largest step-wells in India. You can also view the Palota saree weaving techniques and the artisans who make this saree by hand-weaving methods. You will now return to Ahmedabad and stay here in the hotel for the night.
After check-out from Ahmedabad, you will drive by car and visit Bhavnagar. On the way, you can visit Lothal, which is a port town of the Harappan Civilization. This port town of Lothal is an archaeological site and the open museum here has objects that were excavated here. Later you will reach Bhavnagar and here you can check-in at the hotel and then explore the local market here. In the evening you will have overnight rest in the hotel in Bhavnagar.
After check-out from Bhavnagar, you will proceed to visit another famous Gujarat destination of this tour, which is Diu. You can make a halt on this route to visit the very famous Palitana Jain Temples. These Jain temples are located on a hill called Shatrunjaya Hill. These temples are entirely carved out of white marble stone. These temples are a collection of over 800 temples and were built in the 11th century. After this visit to Palitana, you will continue your journey to Diu, which is a beach destination in Gujarat and has superb beaches with white sand and ocean views. You can check-in at the hotel in Diu and stay here for the night.
You will begin this day with a sightseeing tour of Diu after breakfast. We will take you to visit some of the most popular tourist attractions in Diu, these are Jalandhar Beach, Diu Fort, Naida Caves, Saint Paul’s Church, INS Khukri Memorial, and Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple. Later in the evening you can enjoy relaxing on the beach and view the fabulous sunsets. Later you can return to your hotel in Diu and stay here for the night.
You can enjoy the whole day here at Diu and relax on the beaches. You can visit some other places in Diu such as the Pani Kotha fortress, which is located in the middle of the sea. You can visit this fortress by motorboat and view its strong stone architecture by the Portuguese. Later you can do some bird watching at Fudam Bird Sanctuary. Here you can spot several birds and marine creatures. You will later visit Nagoa Beach and enjoy doing water sports here like speed boat rides, water skiing, dolphin trips, Jet Ski, and others. Later you can relax on the beaches and stay overnight at the hotel in Diu.
You will now check-out from Diu and proceed to Gir National Park, which is the only sanctuary with Asiatic Lions in India. You will check-in at the lodge/ resort/ hotel in Gir and go for the Jeep Safari in Gir National Park. You can spot lions and lion cubs here in their natural environment. After this Gir Lion Safari, you will stay overnight at the hotel.
You will now check-out from Gir National Park and visit Gondal. On the way, you can visit the famous Ashoka Rock Edicts and Uparkot Fort in Junagadh. Later you will arrive in Gondal and check-in at the hotel. Gondal was a princely state where the rulers had a great fascination for vintage cars. Such was the passion for cars that the roads were developed for these cars to drive on. In the evening you will visit Navlakha Palace, which is a huge palace with incredible royal décor and fabulous architecture and carvings. The detailed and precise craftsmanship in Navlakha Palace and its royal durbar halls, staircases, chandeliers, courtyards, and luxury furnishings are worth watching for their royalty and elegance. You can also view vintage cars in the Car Collection and some of the cars have original number plates. Later you will rest overnight at the hotel in Gondal.
In the morning you will check-out from Gondal and proceed to another famous tourist destination in Gujarat, which is Wankaner. On the route, you will visit Rajkot city and its famous attractions, which are Watson Museum which has priceless objects relating to the royal kings of Rajkot. You will visit Rashtriya Shala, where students study various courses and you can view photographs, charkha (cloth spinning machine), etc. Later you will arrive in Wankaner. After hotel check-in you will visit the Ranjit Vilas Palace, which is an incredible palace with royal décor and architecture. Later you can visit the local market. Later you can return to your hotel in Wankaner and rest here for the night.
In the morning you will check-out from Wankaner and drive on to Dasada, which is also the gateway to the Little Rann of Kutch. You will check-in here and then go on a wildlife safari to spot the Asiatic Wild Ass, which is only found here in the Little Rann of Kutch. Later you can explore the local village and interact with the local tribes who live here. Later you will return to your hotel in Dasada and have overnight rest.
You will begin this day with sightseeing in Dasada. You will explore the local village and the artisans here weave beautiful handlooms and create a variety of handicrafts. Besides this, you will do bird watching here and spot flamingos, pelicans, storks, and cranes who come here from Central Asia and Europe. After a full day of sightseeing and bird watching you will return to your hotel in Dasada and rest here for the night.
You will now check-out from Dasada and drive on to Ahmedabad. Later take a flight to Mumbai from Ahmedabad.
