On the first day of your Nepal Tour, you will arrive in Kathmandu. Our tour representative will greet you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in and some rest, you will visit the famous Pashupatinath Temple. This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous temples of Lord Shiva. The temple is a landmark temple with incredible architecture and immense religious and spiritual importance. We will now continue our tour of Kathmandu Valley and visit Boudhanath stupa, which is a Buddhist stupa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Buddhists from all over Nepal, India and other parts of the world come here to pray and meditate. Boudhanath Stupa comes on the list of all the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Later after this sightseeing trip to Kathmandu, we will drop you at your hotel. You will now have dinner and rest here for the night.
You will check out from Kathmandu on this day and reach Pokhara, which is a huge city with immense natural beauty and monuments. You can make short halts on the way to enjoy the various places and scenic beauty. You can visit Manokamna Temple and reach here via a cable car ride. Pokhara is situated on the banks of the Phewa Lake and you can view the towering mountain peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara, you will do all the check-in formalities at the hotel and then stay here for the night.
You will begin an excursion to Sarangkot on this day from Pokhara. Sarangkot is close to Phewa Lake and is situated on a hill. You will visit various sightseeing places here in and around Sarangkot. You will visit the temple and this temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple is believed to be the oldest temple in Pokhara and the idol of Durga was brought from neighboring India. You will visit the waterfall here known among locals as Devi’s Fall. People also call this waterfall with another name Patale Chango. This is a very scenic waterfall and during the rainy season, the waterfall looks even more gorgeous. There is another fascinating place you will visit today and this is Gupteshwar Cave. The caves are spectacular with their eerie limestone formations. After this sightseeing trip in Pokhara, you will return to your hotel in the evening and rest here for the night.
Today you will check-out from Pokhara and reach Kathmandu. You will enjoy the magnificent scenic beauty on the way. The mountain views, waterfalls, scenic valleys, and tiny hamlets on the route will make the route even more exciting. You can check-in at the hotel in Kathmandu on arrival. You will now have the whole day at leisure and explore the local markets and bazaars for souvenirs. Later you will have dinner and rest at leisure in the hotel.
Today you will visit the historic town of Patan near Kathmandu. Patan is also popular as Lalitpur. This is an architectural gem of Nepal and its palaces, courtyards, temples have the most striking architecture and carvings. The Durbar Square in Patan is where most of the magnificent sculptures and palaces are found. Lalitpur is a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of architecture in Nepal. Royal Palace, Patan Museum, temples, and chowks (courtyards) speak of the glorious era of Nepal when the kings built this fabulous city. The red sandstone architecture has exceptional sculptures, carvings, designs, and architecture. Later you will visit the Tibetan Refugee Center and Swayambhu Stupa. After this sightseeing, you will check-out from Kathmandu and we will drop you at Kathmandu Airport. You will now conclude this 5D Nepal Tour and leave with many happy memories of your tour to the mountain kingdom called Nepal.
