Today is the first day of this India Nepal Wildlife Tour. You will arrive at Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station, where our tour representative will greet you and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. You can check into the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel in Delhi.
Today you will go on a Delhi sightseeing tour by car. We will visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat. These places are situated in Old Delhi and are amongst the most popular tourist landmarks in Delhi. Later after lunch, we will go on a tour of New Delhi places such as Humayun’s Tomb, Raj Path, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, and Qutub Minar. You can enjoy the evening at leisure and do a bit of shopping. You can visit a popular restaurant in Delhi and dine on the juicy and lip-smacking street food and local cuisine of Delhi. Later have an overnight stay in Delhi.
Today we will check-out from Delhi and proceed to Agra by private vehicle. You can check into the hotel in Agra on arrival and then go for a half-day tour of Agra. We will visit Mughal monuments in Agra such as the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Both these are the most famous tourist landmarks in Agra. They are magnificent examples of Mughal architecture in the whole of India. You will have an overnight stay in Agra after this Agra sightseeing tour.
Today we will check-out from Agra and proceed to reach Jhansi. We will board the train from Agra railway station to Jhansi. Our tour representative will be there at Jhansi Railway Station to pick you up. Later we will drive to Khajuraho, which is a drive of 180 km and will take 3-4 hours. You can check into the hotel on arrival in Khajuraho and freshen up for the day. Later we will go on a sightseeing tour of the Khajuraho Temples. We will visit the Eastern and Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho. Some of the most spectacular temples here are Vamana Temple, Javari Temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Laxman Temple, Varaha Temple, and Chitragupta Temple. After this sightseeing in Khajuraho, you can stay overnight in the hotel.
Today you will check-out from Khajuraho and proceed by car to Bandhavgarh. This national park is the first national park that you will visit on this India Nepal Wildlife Tour. Bandhavgarh National Park is famous for high density of tiger and this results in more chances to spot a tiger. The sal and bamboo forests and grassland areas in the national park are perfect for wildlife to thrive and flourish. The tiger is, of course, the main wild animal you can spot here. But you can also try to spot others like gaur, chital, sambar deer, leopards, nilgai, wild boar, langur monkeys, rhesus macaques, jungle cat, Indian Pangolin, Indian Fox, Sloth Bear, Jackal, Indian Hare, Striped Hyenas, Palm Squirrels. You will spot birds here like the Malabar Pied Hornbill, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Plum-headed Parakeet, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, Black redstart, kingfishers, doves, eagles, Shikra, babblers, Tickell's flowerpecker among a lot of others. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
In the next two days, you will go on morning and evening tiger safari in Bandhavgarh National Park. Jeep safaris are available in Bandhavgarh National Park and a local forest guide will travel with you to give you more details about the tiger sightings and the forest creatures. Bengal Tigers are the number one jungle creature that you will try to spot here. A tiger sighting is the very reason why tourists visit Bandhavgarh National Park. But you can also photograph other wild animals and birds here. You will stay in Bandhavgarh for the next two days.
Today we will check-out from Bandhavgarh and proceed onwards on this tour and reach Khajuraho Airport by car. We will take the flight to Varanasi. You can check into the hotel in Varanasi on arrival. Then we will go on a half-day sightseeing tour of Varanasi. We will visit popular tourist attractions in Varanasi like Bharat Mata Temple, Benaras Hindu University, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Alamgir Masjid, Durgakund Temple, and the bathing ghats like Assi Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat. Then overnight stay in Varanasi.
After breakfast, you will go on a boat ride in the Ganges River, which is considered to be the holiest river in India. The Ganga flows through Varanasi and a boat ride in the Ganga offers you good views of the river, the bathing ghats, cremation grounds, temples, and the local life in Varanasi. Later you will check-out from Varanasi and proceed to the airport and board the flight to Kathmandu in Nepal. You will check into the hotel in Kathmandu and then stay here for the night.
Today you will go for a full day of Kathmandu sightseeing. We will start after breakfast and you will visit the topmost tourist landmarks in Kathmandu. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Hanuman Dhoka in the morning. After lunch, we will visit Patan Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. The rest of the evening is leisure time and time for shopping and relaxation. You will have dinner and stay for the night in Kathmandu.
Today you will go on a guided tour of Bhaktapur. This medieval city in Nepal ranks among the finest UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Nepal. Bhaktapur Durbar Square has spectacular architecture like the Bhaktapur Royal Palace, stone temple, Nyatapola temple, Changu Narayan temple, and other monuments and structures. Later you will get transferred to Chitwan National Park. This national park was the first national park in Nepal. The Terai grasslands, hilly areas, the river and streams crisscrossing the park, and tall elephant grass are the ideal conditions for wildlife to thrive here. You will check into the jungle lodge in Chitwan National Park and stay here for the night.
For the next two days, you will go on morning and evening safari in Chitwan National Park. The jungles and grasslands of Chitwan National Park teeming with wildlife species, birds, and reptiles. Chitwan National Park is famous for the One-horned rhinoceros and Bengal Tigers. These two wild beasts are the most popular creatures that are very popular with tourists. But you can also spot other mammals like leopards, sambar deer, chital, wild boar, wild dogs, langur monkeys, wild cats, gaur, sloth bears, and marsh crocodiles. Chitwan National Park is also for bird lovers and you can spot myriad birds like paradise flycatchers, parakeets, Indian Pitta, waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, woodpeckers, hornbills, Bengal florican, red-headed trogons, pintails, among others. You can spot the freshwater dolphins also in this national park.
Today you will check-out from Chitwan National Park and arrive in Kathmandu. We will drop you at Kathmandu Airport and you can board the next flight to your hometown.
