Your first day of your Mystic Sikkim Tour starts from Gangtok. As you arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Siliguri Airport, our tour representative will pick you up and drive onwards to Gangtok by private car. When you arrive in Gangtok, you can do check-in at your hotel and then rest for some time. You can do a bit of exploration around the local market in Gangtok after your arrival. You will find a lot of souvenir shops and restaurants around. In the evening you will return to your hotel in Gangtok and spend the night at the hotel.
You will go on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake on this day. We will leave after an early breakfast and visit Tsomgo Lake. The most interesting fact about Tsomgo Lake is that its waters appear to change colors at different seasons and various times of the day. The most exciting thing to do at Tsomgo Lake is a yak ride. You will view forests, snow-covered mountains, glaciers, and wildflowers blooming near the lake. We will now take you to Baba Mandir, which is a shrine dedicated to Sepoy Harbhajan Singh. He died during the battle and people believe that his soul still comes here and guards the post. You will now return to your hotel in Gangtok after this visit and spend the rest of the day in leisure.
You will have an early breakfast and transfer to Lachung from Gangtok. On the way, you can enjoy the mountain scenery and waterfalls. You can make short halts to admire the outstanding views of Seven Sisters Waterfalls and several viewpoints. When you arrive in Lachung you can check-in at the hotel. Later you can spend the rest of the time at your hotel or explore your nearby locality. You will be surprised to see the beauty of the Himalayan town with scenic backdrops and quaint village life. At the end of the day, you can relax in your hotel and have a good night’s sleep.
In the morning you will leave for Yumthang Valley. This valley ranks among the most scenic valleys in all of Sikkim. In the summer season, the valley blooms with flowers and colors. In winter Yumthang Valley is covered with a carpet of snow. The valley is surrounded by lofty Himalayan mountains and glaciers. Lachung River flows through this valley and lends it a scenic charm. After this visit to Lachung, you can drive to Gangtok and check-in at your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to explore Gangtok and the nearby market. You can rest in your hotel in Gangtok at night.
