Kandariya Mahadev temple

One of the best temples that you will visit in Khajuraho is the Kandariya Mahadev temple. This temple is a group of temples that include Matangeshwar Temple, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, and Vishwanath Temple. The temple has the most extraordinary and incredible architecture and the sculptures here are one of the best things that you will see on your trip to Khajuraho. There are sculpted pillars, sculptures of various Hindu gods, damsels, flowers, and mythological characters. The Kandariya Mahadeva Temple and its other temples form a shape that resembles the yantra or Mount Meru, which is a cosmic mountain that is famous in the Hindu scriptures. The shikara of the temple has some of the best sculptures and carvings and they are some of the best examples of temple architecture in the whole of India.

Lakshman Temple

Lakshman Temple is one of the temples that you will visit in Khajuraho. Lakshman temple is a wonderful temple with extremely beautiful architecture and sculptures. Here you will see a maha mandap and a central chamber called Gharba gruha. There are many other remarkable temple features such as exquisite carvings, sculptures, chiseled idols, etc. which make this one of the celebrated temples in Khajuraho. You will see the entire temple architecture that is a hallmark of the Hindu temples in this temple. So you can view the inner chambers, halls, mandap halls, porches, etc. The temple is one of the finest examples of temple architecture in India.

Devi Jagdamba Temple

Devi Jagdamba temple is a very beautiful temple that was built by the Chandela dynasty in the 10th or 12th centuries. This temple is in the northern part of Khajuraho and is a World Heritage site. The extraordinary carvings, sculptures on the walls, and splendid temple architecture of Jagdamba Temple will enchant you with its artistic beauty and amazing workmanship. The maha mandapa in this temple has some of the most beautiful sculptures and carvings on stone.

Vishwanath Temple

Vishwanath temple is one of the Khajuraho monuments that will visit in this one day sightseeing tour of Khajuraho. This temple is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a temple of Lord Shiv who is worshipped here as Vishwanath. The temple is one of the finest temples in the Khajuraho temple group and there are several other smaller temples besides the main temple.

Dulhadev Temple

Dulhadev temple is dedicated to Lord Shiv. The meaning of the temple is a Holy Bridegroom. This temple is also called Kunwar Math and is one of the finest temples that the Chandela rulers built during their rule. The temple was built around 1150. The temple architecture is designed to resemble a temple chariot and is a very unique temple in Khajuraho. You will find many sculptures here like the apsaras, dancers, and others.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
