Your Orissa Package will start when you arrive in Bhubaneswar. Our tour representative will be there to receive you at Bhubaneswar Airport/ Bhubaneswar Railway Station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel for this particular tour. After you have checked in at the hotel you can rest for some time and get ready for the sightseeing tour in Bhubaneswar. We will visit the famous caves and heritage sites in Bhubaneswar on this day. The famous temples that we will visit are Rajarani Temple, Khandagiri, Udaygiri Caves, Parshurameshwaram Temple, and Mukteshwar Temple. After this sightseeing tour of Bhubaneswar, you will return to your hotel and rest here for the night.
Today you will check-out from Bhubaneswar and proceed to visit Gopalpur. On the way, you will visit the famous Chilika Lake, which was recognized as the first Ramsar wetland site in India. You will take a boat ride from Barkul and view the lagoons and mangrove forests. Chilika Lake is one of the biggest lagoons in India and migratory birds from Central Asia and Europe come here during winter time. Kalijai Temple is a temple that is situated in the middle of the Chilika Lake. Later you will drive onwards to Gopalpur. On reaching Gopalpur you will check-in at the hotel and rest here for the night.
Today you will go on an excursion to Chandragiri. Here you will visit the Buddhist monastery. Later you will proceed to visit Taptapani, which is famous for its hot water springs. You can spend some time here and enjoy the wonderful natural scenery and environs. In the evening you will return to Gopalpur and visit the famous beach here. Spend some time at the beach and enjoy the sunset views. Later you will return to your hotel and rest here for the night.
In the morning you will have breakfast and then check-out from Gopalpur. Then we will drive to Puri. After we arrive in Puri, you will check-in at the hotel. In the evening you will visit Puri Temple, which is more famous as Jagannath Puri Temple. You will have the darshan of Lord Jagannath, along with Balabhadra and Subhadra. Jagannath Puri Temple is one of the Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage places in India. Please note that non-Hindus are not allowed permission inside the temple. Later we will visit Gundicha Temple, Bedi Hanuman Temple and Mausima Temple. After this sightseeing trip to Puri, you will return to your hotel and relish your dinner with overnight rest.
Today you will visit Konark Sun Temple. This temple is popularly known as Black Pagoda and is the most famous temple of the Sun God in India. Konark Sun Temple is famous for its incredible architecture and rich carvings. We will also visit the Ramchandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach. You can visit Konark Sun Temple in the evening at your own cost and see the Light & Sound Show. You can return to your hotel in the evening and relax at Puri Beach. The local markets have many handicraft shops. Later you will have dinner in the hotel and overnight rest.
Today you will check-out from Puri and drive to Bhubaneswar. On the way, you can visit Dhauli Shanti Stupa and Chausath Yogini Temple at Hirapur. You can also visit Pipli Village. After you reach Bhubaneswar you can visit Nandankanan Zoo. In the evening we will drop you at Bhubaneswar Airport/ railway station at the time of your scheduled flight/ train. You will leave Orissa with many wonderful memories of this Orissa Tour.
