You will start your Rann of Kutch Honeymoon from Bhuj. After you arrive at Bhuj Airport or Bhuj Railway Station our tour representative will pick you up and transfer to your hotel in Bhuj. After check-in at the hotel and some rest, you will start with a sightseeing trip to Bhuj. You will visit the topmost tourist attractions of Bhuj on this day. We will take you to the Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal, and Kutch Museum. These are spectacular palaces and places with incredible Kutchi-style architecture. Later you will visit Swaminarayan Temple and Ramkund Stepwell.
In the evening you can eat and dine at a popular restaurant in Bhuj with your spouse. Bhuj is famous for its Gujarati and Kutchhi food varieties. Later you can return to your hotel in Bhuj and have overnight rest.
You will begin after breakfast and visit the famous crafts village in Bhuj. Bhujodi Village is famous for its hand-woven handlooms and tie-and-dye prints. The community which lives here is traditional weavers and artisans who create beautiful hand-woven textiles. Another famous village, which you will visit on this day, is Ajrakhpur, which is a crafts village. The residents of this village have been creating beautiful Ajrakh-printed sarees and textiles for many decades.
You can view the artisans creating block-printed sarees using natural colors and dyes. It is a ritual that is handed on to younger generations and is continuing to this day. The colors used here are from natural products like pomegranates, henna, indigo, and other sources.
In the evening you will visit Hamirsar Lake and you can spend a lovely time with your spouse. Hamirsar Lake has a small island in the middle and it lends a very scenic backdrop to the lake. You will now have dinner and dine on some traditional Gujarati dishes at a popular restaurant or your hotel in Bhuj. Afterward, you and your spouse can spend some relaxed time in your hotel room.
You will check-out from Bhuj on this day and visit Banni Village. This village has preserved the traditional arts and crafts of the Kutch region. You will see the traditional Bhunga houses here which are made of mud and other natural materials like bamboo, grass, etc. You will now check-in at your hotel in Dhordo and rest for some time.
After lunch, you will visit the Rann of Kutch. This desert is a salty marshland, which turns into a desert in the hot summer days. It is called the White Desert due to the salt in the desert. It is a huge endless expanse of white sands and desert landscapes.
The Rann of Kutch looks very beautiful on Full Moon nights and this is a very romantic time as the desert appears to seem like an outer world in the glow of the Full Moon. Rann Utsav is a huge cultural extravaganza in the Kutch region and foreigners and Indians both visit Kutch to participate in the festival.
In the evening you will return to your hotel and take part in the folk dance program and various events at the hotel. Later have dinner and rest for the night in your hotel in Dhordo.
You can wake up to a beautiful morning and after breakfast embark on a tour of the local attractions in Dhordo. You can explore the mud houses here and learn about their construction and unique use of materials. The mud art in these houses is seen only here in the Kutch region of Gujarat. After lunch, you will visit India Bridge, which is the last bridge before the border with Pakistan.
You will visit Kalo Dungar, which is a hill that offers you exciting views of the Rann of Kutch. Kalo Dungar is the highest altitude point in the entire Kutch region of Gujarat You can sit here and enjoy the views of sunsets from Kalo Dungar. You will now head to your hotel and take part in some events and cultural dances and music. After a hearty dinner, you can rest in the hotel for the night.
After this Kutch Honeymoon Tour, you will check-out from your hotel and we will drop you at Bhuj Railway Station or Bhuj Airport and you can take a flight or train to your hometown.
