Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrive in Delhi

On your first day of this Satpura and Pench Wildlife Tour, you will arrive in Delhi. Our tour representative will be there at Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station to greet you. From there we will arrive at the pre-booked hotel for this tour in Delhi. You will check-in at the hotel and then rest for the day and overnight stay in Delhi.

2Day Delhi to Satpura via Bhopal

Today you will check-out from Delhi and board the flight to Bhopal. On landing at Bhopal Airport, our tour representative will greet you and drive on to Satpura National Park. You can check into the jungle lodge and have lunch. Later you will go on a wildlife safari tour of Satpura National Park. You can take an elephant ride, or jeep safari in Satpura National Park. Satpura National Park has dense forests and grasslands, which is an ideal habitat for wildlife to live. You can return to your jungle lodge/ resort after this safari and have an overnight stay

3Day Wildlife safari in Satpura National Park

Today you will go for a walking tour of Satpura National Park. This national park in Madhya Pradesh is one of the best places to watch wildlife and do several exciting activities. You can go for night safari and watch the nocturnal beasts, or boating in Denwa River. In the jungles of Satpura National Park, you will spot Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Barasingha, Wild Dogs, Leopards, Rusty Spotted Cat, Sloth Bear, Pangolins, Langur monkeys, and Crocodiles. The sight of an Indian Giant Squirrel is sure to enthrall you as it leaps from tree to tree. You can also go for bird-watching tours in Satpura National Park and the birds you can spot here are Malabar Pied Hornbill, Honey Buzzard, Paradise Flycatcher, and Malabar Whistling Thrush among many others. After this wildlife excursion in Satpura National Park, you will return to the luxury camp/ hotel/ lodge and rest here for the night.

4Day Wildlife safari in Satpura National Park

Today you will go for a tiger safari in Satpura National Park in the morning time. Afterward, we will visit Churna Camp, which is one of the exciting places in this national park. You can target some very popular animals here so you get good wildlife sightings. The most common animals you can spot on the way to the camp are Sloth Bears, Wild Dogs, Indian Giant Squirrel, Indian Muntjac, sambar, flying squirrels, wild boars, sloth bear, chital, leopard, chinkara, fox, porcupine, and others. Tiger sightings are not as common as in Bandhavgarh National Park. At Churna Camp, you can go for bird watching nearby and spot Paradise Flycatchers, hornbills, and peafowl. You will stay overnight at Churna Camp.

5Day Satpura National Park

Today is yet another day in this wildlife tour of Satpura National Park. In the morning you will take a nature walk in the forests at Churna Camp and visit the prehistoric cave site. The rock paintings here are said to be around 10,000 years old. Later you will arrive at the camp for breakfast. Later you will proceed to another wildlife safari in Satpura National Park. After lunch, you can go for jungle walks, or boat safari, or a canoeing tour in Denwa Backwaters. Here you can spot a crocodile as it basks on the rocks. You will arrive in the lodge and rest here for the night.

6Day Satpura to Pench

Today morning you will go for a tiger safari in Satpura National Park. Later you will check-out from the camp and proceed to Pench National Park. You can check into the lodge on arrival in Pench and then spend the rest of the day at leisure.

7Day and 8: Pench National Park

You will go on a wildlife safari, bird-watching safari, jungle walks in Pench National Park for the next two days. We will do this tiger safari in the morning and then visit the Khurpasar zone. Pench National Park is one of the best national parks in Madhya Pradesh to watch tigers in their natural habitats. This national park has dense deciduous forests with grasslands and river streams. The tall grass and bushes are ideal for the tigers to hide and kill their prey. Pench is considered to be the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling to write The Jungle Book. Among the various safari zones in Pench, the Khurpasar is a very popular safari zone in Pench National Park and you often get very good tiger sightings here.
Four mountain ranges of Central India are located in Pench National Park. These are the Satpura, Maikal, Aravalli, and Vindhyachal. The river Pench flows through this national park. You will find many river streams of this river and water holes, which are the places of drinking water for the jungle creatures.
You will spot many wild creatures in Pench National Park. This is in addition to the Royal Bengal Tiger spotting. The common animals you can spot here are the deer species like Sambar, Nilgai, Chital, Wild Boar, Jackal, Leopard, Barking Deer, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Indian Bison (Gaur), Chinkara, monkeys, porcupine, sloth bear, and others.
The areas near Pench River are especially good for tiger sightings. But occasionally you might spot a leopard here, though their areas are more towards the edges of the national park. You can spot jungle cats, palm civets, and Indian Civets. The sightings of deer are common in Pench. You will see them in water holes, river banks, and reservoirs. Sighting a pack of wolves and jackals is also common. Wild Dogs can be seen in areas like Jamtara, Pyorthadi, Chhedia, and Bodanala areas.
Summer season is the season when you are almost guaranteed wildlife sightings. Gaur can be seen near water holes and streams. Sloth bears can be spotted around the rocky areas of the park. You can find chinkara in open areas like Telia, Turia, and Dughgaon.
During your safari, you can target some birds and go for bird watching safari. Among the popular birds you can see here are the various types of jungle fowl, kingfisher, myna, waterfowl, shoveller, egrets, herons, racket-tailed drongo, Indian Roller, Magpie Robin, Lesser Whistling Teal, Pintail, minivets, orioles, wagtail, munia, red vented bulbul, crow pheasant, crimson breasted barbet.
After this wildlife safari, you will return to your jungle lodge and have overnight rest and stay.

9Day Pench to Delhi via Nagpur

Today you check-out from Pench after a morning wildlife safari in Pench. Later we will drive to Nagpur from where you will board the flight to Delhi. You will meet our tour representative at Delhi Airport. Then we will drive to our pre-booked hotel in Delhi. Here you will check into the hotel and have an overnight stay and rest.

10Day Departure from Delhi

You will check-out from Delhi and drive to the airport. Here you can board the scheduled flight and return to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
