Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrive in Cochin

You will arrive in Cochin on day 1 of this tour. On arrival at Cochin Airport/ Cochin Railway Station, our tour representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Cochin. After check-in and rest you will visit the neighborhood of Fort Kochi. Here you will visit Mattancherry Palace, Jew Town, Santa Cruz Cathedral, St Francis CSI Church, and Chinese Fishing Boats. You will enjoy the walk on Marine Drive and the view of the tall skyscrapers. The promenade is good for sitting and you can enjoy the view of the sea and the waves from the promenade. Other places that you can visit in Cochin are the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, and Fort Cochin Beach. In the evening you will return to your hotel in Cochin and rest here for the night.

2Day Cochin to Athirapally

Today you will check-out from Cochin and proceed to visit Athirapally by road. You will check-in at the hotel/ resort in Athirapally and then visit Athirapally Waterfalls. This Athirapally waterfall is Kerala’s highest waterfall. It falls from a height of 81 feet and is famous by the name of Niagara of South India. You will love the surrounding forests of the Western Ghats and the Chalkudy River on which the waterfalls are situated. You can walk on the pathways and admire the greenery and the view of the cascading waters of Athirapally Waterfalls. You will also visit the Vazhachal Waterfalls. Later enjoy an overnight stay at your resort in Athirapally.

3Day Athirapally to Munnar

After check-out from Athirapally, you will proceed to Munnar. This is a very scenic road journey where you can admire the various waterfalls like Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, spice plantations, tea gardens, valleys, and forests of the Western Ghats. On arrival in Munnar you can check-in at the hotel and then rest here for the night.

4Day Munnar sightseeing

After breakfast, you will begin this day with sightseeing in Munnar. You will have a full day with you to explore the various tourist attractions in Munnar. Mattupetty Dam is the first place you will visit and this dam offers boat rides and an excellent view of the surrounding greenery. We will now take you to visit Kundala Lake, where you can go for speed boating and also go for a short hike into the jungles. We will now take you to Echo Point and the tea plantations, which are very famous in Munnar. We will visit Eravikulam National Park after lunch. This national park is full of magnificent natural beauty and you can spot the Nilgiri Tahr, which thrives here in its natural habitat of Nilgiri forests. Later you can enjoy some leisurely activities at your resort/ hotel in Munnar and spend the night here.

5Day Munnar to Thekkady

After check-out from Munnar, you will now proceed to visit Thekkady. After you reach Thekkady, you will do check-in formalities at your resort/ hotel and proceed to visit the Periyar National Park. This is one of the best tourist attractions in entire South India. Periyar river flows through this national park and boating here is the best thing to experience and view the supreme natural beauty of this forest. You can spot tigers, crocodiles, elephants, deer, and other animals on the elephant safari tour. You can explore the tea plantations inside the national park. In the evening you can enjoy a performance of Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial arts of Kerala. Later you will rest at the hotel for the night.

6Day Thekkady to Kumarakom

You will now check-out from Thekkady and proceed to visit the backwater region of Kerala and which is Kumarakom. The idyllic backwaters in Kumarakom are ideal habitats for a lot of birds. When you arrive in Kumarakom you will check-in at the houseboat that was pre-booked for this particular tour. You can visit the paddy fields, and float over the backwaters. You will now rest in the houseboat for the night.

7Day Kumarakom to Alleppey

You will now proceed to visit Alleppey after check-out from Kovalam. Alleppey is the best place to visit the backwaters in Kerala. You will check-in at the houseboat and then visit the various lagoons, creeks, and small islands on the backwaters. You can view the birdlife at Vembanad Lake and the glorious sunsets. You will have meals in your houseboat and relax here for the night.

8Day Alleppey to Kovalam

After check-out from Alleppey, you will visit Kovalam on this day. Kovalam is a famous beach destination in Kerala and the beaches here are best for relaxation and adventures. The magnificent beaches here in Kovalam are famous for their swimming, water sports, and beach resorts. After arrival and check-in at the resort in Kovalam, you can visit the beaches like Samudra Beach and Kovalam Main Beach. You can now spend the rest of the day walking and having fun at the beaches. You can do activities like sunbathing, Ayurvedic massage, herbal spa therapies, cultural programs, Yoga, water sports, etc. Keep the evening free for relaxation at your hotel or go for beach walks. You can climb the stairs or take the elevator to Kovalam Lighthouse and view the entire sea and the coastline from the top of the lighthouse.

9Day Daytrip to Trivandrum

On this day you will visit Trivandrum. The new name for Trivandrum is Thiruvananthapuram. This is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Kerala and is famous for its beaches and temples. You will visit the famous tourist attractions here like Napier Museum, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, and Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. In the evening you can explore the local market and taste some tasty food. Later you will return to Kovalam on the same day and rest overnight at the hotel.

10Day Kovalam to Kanyakumari

You will now check-out from Kovalam and set off to Kanyakumari. You will do check-in at the hotel in Kanyakumari and then visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue via a ferry ride. Later you will visit Triveni Sangam and which is the point where three oceans meet and these are the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean. You can bathe here and see the gorgeous views of the ocean. In the evening you can explore the local market in Kanyakumari and do some shopping. You will find some stalls on the beaches and also some popular shops where you can shop for handicrafts, sea shells, items made from sea shells, conches, straw hats etc. Later you can return to your hotel and stay here for the night.

11Day Departure from Trivandrum

You will now check-out from Kanyakumari and proceed to Trivandrum by road. We will drop you at Trivandrum Airport/ Trivandrum Railway Station and you can leave via flight or train to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
