1Day Arrive in Delhi

Today is the starting day of this South India Wildlife Tour. The day starts with your arrival in Delhi. Our tour representative will pick you up from Delhi Airport/ Delhi Railway Station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. After hotel check-in you can spend the time relaxing in the hotel. You can explore the local market in Delhi and try mouth-watering street food. Later you can return to the hotel and stay here for the night.

2Day Delhi sightseeing

Today you will go on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. We will visit India Gate, drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan and visit two famous historic monuments in Delhi, which are Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Later you will return to your hotel in Delhi and have overnight rest.

3Day Delhi to Bangalore + Sightseeing in Bangalore

Today you will check-out from Delhi and board the flight to Bangalore. You can do check-in on arrival and later drive to Mysore and visit some famous sites in Mysore. We will visit Brindavan Gardens, which is a garden complex with many musical fountains and flowers. We will later visit Mysore Palace, which is also known as Amba Vilas Palace. This magnificent palace is an example of exquisite architecture and is a pleasing sight to the eyes of the onlookers. After you have visited Mysore Palace you will drive back to Bangalore and rest overnight in the hotel.

4Day Bangalore to Nagarhole National Park + Wildlife safari in Nagarhole

Today will be a very exciting day as you will visit one of the best national parks in Karnataka, which is none other than Nagarhole National Park. This national park is around 80 km from Bangalore. Another name for Nagarhole National Park is Rajiv Gandhi National Park. Once you arrive in Nagarhole you can check-in at the jungle lodge/ resort. Later you can go on a wildlife safari in Nagarhole and spot the wild animals here such as tigers, bison, bears, sambar deer, chital deer, leopards, wild boar, giant flying squirrels, and others. The birdlife here is also varied and you can spot eagles, vultures, Malabar Trogon, hornbills, and other birds. After this wildlife safari in Nagarhole, you will return to your lodge and rest here for the night.

5Day Wildlife safari + other activities

Today you will have the whole day, where you can go on a safari in Nagarhole National Park. You can spot the wild animals and reptiles more closely here. You can do bird watching and spot the birds and other creatures and photograph them. Later you can go for a coracle ride in the Kabini River. Again in the evening you can go for a jeep safari and spot and photograph the natural beauty and wild animals. After this safari, you will return to your jungle lodge and rest here for the night.

6Day Check-out from Nagarhole National Park + Arrive in BR Hills

You can check-out from Nagarhole after breakfast and reach BR Hills. This is also famous as Biligiri Rangan Hills. You can check-in in the tent and later go on a trekking tour of BR Hills. You can spot wild elephants, gaurs, tigers, deer, sloth bears, and other creatures of the jungle here. BR Hills is the starting point of the Eastern Ghats and a bridge between the Western Ghats and the Eastern Ghats. The lush green forests in BR Hills support many wildlife species. You will stay for the night in the tented accommodation in BR Hills.

7Day BR Hills

Today you will visit the Biligiri Ranga Swamy Temple Wildlife Sanctuary. This is simply called BRT Wildlife Sanctuary. This wildlife sanctuary is home to many creatures like wild elephants, bison, porcupine, otters, hare, langurs, etc. Later you can rest in the camp and spend the night here.

8Day BR Hills to Bandipur National Park + Jungle Safari

Today you will check-out from BR Hills and reach Bandipur National Park. This national park is a very popular place to spot wild animals and ranks among the finest national parks in South India. You will check-in at the jungle resort in Bandipur on arrival and then go for a Jungle Safari in Bandipur National Park. The jeep safari is one of the best ways to spot the creatures in their natural habitat in Bandipur. Later you will have overnight rest in Bandipur.

9Day Jungle Safari in Bandipur National Park

Today you will go on a wildlife safari in the morning and evening times in Bandipur. You can spot tigers, monkeys, wild boar, and other animals. You can do bird watching here and also enjoy the lush green woods. Later you will have an overnight stay in Bandipur.

10Day Bandipur National Park to Ooty

You will check-out from Bandipur and reach Ooty, which is one of the spectacular hill stations in South India. You can check-in at the hotel in Ooty on arrival and then spend the day at leisure and do whatever you want to do in Ooty. You can visit popular spots in Ooty such as Botanical Garden, and Ooty Lake. You can do some shopping at the local bazaar in Ooty and take a stroll around the tea gardens. At the end of the day, you will return to the hotel and stay here for the night.

11Day Ooty to Munnar to Eravikulam National Park

Today you will drive to yet another famous hill station in South India, which is called Munnar. This hill station is the most popular in Kerala and is famous for its spice plantations. You will reach Eravikulam National Park, where you can check-in at the resort. Later on, you can take a relaxing nature walk in the jungles of Eravikulam. You can soak in the surrounding greenery and admire the lush greenery of the forests. Later you will have an overnight stay in Eravikulam.

12Day Check-out from Eravikulam National Park + Arrival in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

In the morning you will go on a wildlife safari in Eravikulam National Park and spot some wild animals here. The most popular wild animals found here in Eravikulam National Park are leopards, jungle cats, wild boar, sambar, jackal, tigers, gaur, Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, and flycatchers. But the most treasured wild animal in Eravikulam National Park is the Nilgiri Tahr, which is a type of goat and is found on rough terrain, cliffs, and steep slopes. Later after lunch, we will reach Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Tigers and elephants are found here in Periyar and this national park is the most famous national park in South India. You can check-in on arrival and then admire the lush greenery of the national park. You can go for a nature walk around the jungles and indulge in nature photography. Later have an overnight stay in Periyar National Park.

13Day Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

You will have a full day of the most exciting wildlife adventures in Periyar on this day. You can go for morning and evening boat rides in the Periyar River and spot herds of wild elephants. You can go for an elephant safari in Periyar National Park and spot tigers, bison, Malabar Giant Squirrel, fox, leopard, jackals, and other jungle creatures. Later you will stay overnight in Periyar.

14Day Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to Kumarakom

After breakfast, you will check-out from Periyar and reach Kumarakom. On arrival in Kumarakom, you will check-in at the hotel and explore the local places in Kumarakom. This is a coastal town and the backwaters are famous places in Kumarakom. The beaches in Kumarakom are also the best places to visit. You can see the rich birdlife and creatures in the backwaters of Kumarakom. Vembanad Lake is a huge lake here and Kumarakom was chosen as one of the top places to visit in the world by the New York Times. If you have arrived in Kumarakom in the right season, then you can watch a traditional boat race in the backwaters of Kumarakom. You can also experience the houseboat stay in Kumarakom. Later you will stay overnight in the hotel in Kumarakom.

15Day Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

Today you will go on a boat ride in Kumarakom and view the idyllic life here. The birds and villages on the edge of the lake will make the experience even more pleasant. You can view the rice fields and fishing boats of the villagers. Later you will get transferred to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and check-in at the hotel. You will go on a cruise on the river and spot birds like herons, egrets, waterfowl, Siberian Cranes, flycatchers, larks, and others. You will stay overnight in the hotel and then rest for the night.

16Day Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to Kochi

Today you will check-out from Kumarakom and proceed to Kochi. After you arrive in Cochin you can visit some popular Cochin places like Matancherry Palace, Santa Cruise Basilica, and St Francis Church. After dinner, you will proceed to board the flight to your hometown.

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
