1Day Cochin to Munnar

On arrival in Cochin, you will drive to Munnar, which is one of the gorgeous hill stations in Kerala. On the way, you can plan halts to admire the scenic route and its places. Plan your tour itinerary in such a way that you can make a halt at Elephant Training Centre at Kodanad. This is one of the largest training centers for elephants in Kerala. It is on the Periyar River and is an area of lush greenery and dense forests. You can see the trainers bathing their elephants and also spot other wildlife here such as deer. Later appreciate the majestic beauty of some of the famous waterfalls as you drive along this route. You will come across beautiful waterfalls such as Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. On arrival in Munnar do all the checking formalities at your homestay or resort and rest for some time. Have a typical Kerala dinner which is homemade for you with the choicest ingredients.

2Day Munnar Sightseeing

You will spend all day beautiful sightseeing in Munnar. You will visit places such as Mattupetty Lake, Tea Museum, Echo Point, Pothenmedu viewpoint, and a Dairy Farm. Munnar is situated 1600 meters above sea level and is famous for its viewpoints, lakes, and river streams. You can do several things here apart from sightseeing such as tasting tea, boating in the Mattupetty Dam and Lake, horse riding, etc. There are many other places that you can visit here such as Devikulam, Chithirapuram, Nayamakad, and Power House Waterfalls. Come back to your resort at dinnertime and rest for the night.

3Day Thekkady sightseeing

After this sightseeing trip of Munnar, you will now check out from your resort and drive to your next big destination that is Thekkady. Munnar to Thekkady is just a drive of 3-4 hours by car. Thekkady is one of the best places in Kerala with magnificent natural beauty. Thekkady is the best place from where you can go for an exciting jungle adventure into Periyar National Park. You can do boating in the river, or go on a short jungle trek. Thekkady offers so many activities such as exploring tribal villages, elephant rides, bullock cart rides, spice plantation tours, etc. You can customize this tour with the activity that you want and pre-book the one that you will be doing. When you arrive in Thekkady check in at your resort and stay for the night.

4Day Thekkady to Kumarakom

In the morning, you will now check out from Thekkady and drive on to your next Kerala destination which is called Kumarakom. The drive from Thekkady to Kumarakom will take around 4-5 hours. On arrival check-in at your houseboat in Kumarakom and do a houseboat tour of the backwaters. You can see the rustic lifestyle here and artisans making local products from natural materials like coir, bamboo, coconut shells, etc. Dinner will be served in the houseboat itself and will be a typical Kerala-style dinner with authentic spices and ingredients. Have an overnight rest in the houseboat and rest for the night.

5Day Cochin sightseeing + departure

You will check out in the morning from Kumarakom after a delicious breakfast and proceed to head to Cochin. On the way, you can stop to admire the places on the route. Explore the sightseeing in Cochin and visit various places such as Marine Drive, Jew Town, Cherai Beach, etc. Then we will drop you at the airport or railway station in Cochin from where you can depart for your home town.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
