1Day Day 1 - Arrive in Kolkata

On the first day of this Sunderbans Tiger Safari Tour, you will arrive in Kolkata. Our tour representative will greet you and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel in Kolkata. After check-in, you can go on a half-day tour of Kolkata and visit some very popular tourist landmarks in Kolkata. We will visit Victoria Memorial, Fort William, Raj Bhawan, Botanical Garden, and Palladian villas. After this sightseeing tour of Kolkata, you will return to your hotel and rest here for the night.

2Day Day 2 - Kolkata to Sunderbans

Today you will proceed to Basanti by car. From Basanti, you will board a boat and reach the tourist lodge in the Sunderbans. After you have checked in at the lodge you can explore Sunderbans and watch the creatures that are found here. Sunderbans is the world’s largest mangrove forest. You will find small islands, mudflats, and innumerable waterways in the Sunderbans. Royal Bengal Tigers, crocodiles, turtles, Gangetic Dolphins, pythons, and several other creatures are found here in the Sunderbans Delta. You can climb aboard a watchtower and view the natural beauty of Sunderbans and some creatures from your binoculars. After the day ends you will rest in the forest lodge for the night.

3Day Day 3 - Sunderbans Cruise + Tiger watching

Today you will go on a cruise boat in the Sunderbans. This will give you the unique opportunity to spot several animals, birds, and aquatic creatures. You can spot the Royal Bengal Tiger in the thick undergrowth of the mangroves and forests. The creeks, swamps, and marshy lands, are the best places to spot birds, turtles, fish, and other animals. After this day trip in the Sunderbans, you can rest in your forest lodge for the night.

4Day Day 4 - Sunderbans to Kolkata

Today morning you will go by motor boat to Basanti. From there you will drive to Kolkata and check-in to your hotel. You can have the entire day to yourself and spend the time at leisure. You will stay for the night in the hotel in Kolkata.

5Day Day 5 - Departure from Kolkata

This is the last day of this Sunderbans Tiger Safari Tour. After you have checked-out from the hotel in Kolkata our tour representative will transfer you to the airport and you can take the scheduled flight to your hometown.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
